Enrique stumbled on his feet due to the sheer pain shrilling across his arms which quickly spread across every single nerve, on top of that, he got to see her fainting in his feet which added to his suffering but he managed to maintain his balance. Not to know whom to blame for this. He had never wanted her in the position she was now.
Nonetheless, a victorious smirk slightly played across his lips, he got her back. Indeed, she had to end up in his arms and nowhere else.
He gently leaned over her and slid his arm below her legs and other under her head as he craned her body up in his arms. The thick army force backing him dispersed quickly to make a way for him to walk through it.
He marched towards the front arcade with her calmly asleep, her cheeks lacerated with sweat pressed against his chest. He could not take his eyes off her innocent face, those pursed lips, and closed eyes.
"Ssss…" As he ascended the stairs, a gush of agonizing pain rushed across his body which immediately made him wince, however he made sure it'd be inaudible to others.
"Well done fellas! We did a great job. And it would not have been possible if we didn't act as a team." Rogue appreciated the efforts of the security army and raised a toss for them. A reluctantly glinting smile bloomed on his lips as he tucked the radio phone back in the pocket of his pants and patted on it.
A young maid clad in white uniform with a black apron tied around her waist scurried forward after she saw Enrique walking in her direction to open the door of his room.
It had been a very rough and full of adventure, mystery, and thrill kind of day. Everyone had a tense time, it was a no treat for their eyes to witness the sheet example of bloodshed he put forth for others who would dare to touch his Mistress by cutting the hands of a guard who apparently had no bad intentions when he touched her.
By now, it was clear to all of them how precious she had for him, and the level of possessiveness he had.
"He must have gone really crazy after her!" The maid whispered to the other standing behind her with a box of first aid in her hands.
Enrique dashed into the room, and laid her on the bed. He was struggling to stand on his feet. His body had already drained off all the energy.
He huffed with agitation after realizing that he couldn't not keep up further with this pain.
After a while, the dark clouds began to side away, rays of sunlight peeking down pierced her eyes. Before she could pull the curtain of her eyes open, a pinching sensation made her squeeze them tight.
"Where am I!?" She wondered. The last memory she had was of escaping through the door, and being caught up by the troops of security forces led by the devil himself.
After that it was all blank. As if the writer had dozed off and forgotten to continue penning the later half of the chap. She sensed comfort below her back aching badly due to the stress activity she had been involved in.
She tried to make a guess, regardless it was useless to do so. In fact she should have been sure about it.
A giant shadow was shading her figure giving her the signal that someone was standing near her. However, she could not dare to confirm her thoughts.
Whoever it was. She didn't have the patience to bear it. But for how long could she have leverage from it?
"Boss. Shall I give you first aid!?" The maid who earlier opened the door for him, asked him as his wound was still reaping blood. The white marble tiles turned red with the thick hot liquid dripping from his arm.
"No. I don't need it." Enrique said as he was concerned more about her. Looking at her unconscious body, he found himself praying for her. It was strange. Maybe it would not be for many. Buy for Enrique it was. He had never prayed before. In fact he didn't believe in praying but taking action to turn the direction of the wind towards him.
Strangely his lips moved to pray for her when he was experiencing pain and was on the verge to bump on the floor any moment.
It was then Danielle recalled the instance when she shot him on the arm.
"Fuvk! He has not been treated for it yet!" She pondered. As creases of concern formed on her forehead. Her unintentional action didn't go unnoticed by Enrique. He who had his eyes stuck on her, immediately caught up the creases and realized that she was not unconscious anymore but acting like so.
'Why is she doing it, knowing how concerned I am about her!?' he thought.
His concern changed suddenly into aggression, he bit on his lower lip, and began to ponder how to turn this game on her.
"Get the sword! I think it's time!" Enrique spoke in a composed voice suggesting nothing good to her.
The maid shot a confused look at him, as if trying to understand whether he was serious or kidding her.
To her shock, nothing on his face suggested that she should not take action on his order.
Respectively she walked out of the room to get the sword which earlier Rogue brought in the hall and was used to punish the innocent guard.
As soon as his voice echoed in her ears, her eyes shot open as if she woke up from a nightmare.
Her mind didn't take any time to process the words split out of his mouth. Sword. She didn't have to scratch the walls of her brain to recall what sword he was talking about and why!
To be honest, she had somehow expected this, and was very well aware of the fact that this time would come shortly after he caught her up.
Now it was her turn.
She has to be punished for daring to bother him by running from there.
"Welcome back!" Enrique smirked victoriously.
