"Love," Dakuma called bitterly.
"The one thing that ruins things and makes a situation difficult. Because of the love between you two, I can get in his head no more."
We pulled apart slowly from the kiss, staring unrelentingly and unblinkingly into each other's eyes. I was so happy that he was okay.
"What did you do to me?"
He whispered, sounding out of breathe.
I blinked slowly at him like I was in a trance of some sort.
"All I did to you was love you."
His brow furrowed a bit in a frown.
"I love you, Adrian. I want you to always know that no matter what."
"What are you talking about?"
Before I could say anything to his question, I heard Valerie's voice yell out,
"Watch out, Ian!!"
But he didn't once look away from me as if scared that I might disappear, neither did I.
