"Beautiful thief?" I sucked my teeth.
"Nice joke." I added and took another bite off the stale bread and my stomach rumbled.
The man let out a low humourless laughter and walked around the woman to place his hands on table and lean closer to me.
"Give her the damn coins."
He cursed.
I leaned back lazily on the chair with my eyes staring pointedly at him.
"Or what?
His face which had turned stoney suddenly broke out in a wicked grin.
"Or we'll make you." As soon as he said that, he turned to stare around and so did I. All the fairies in the tavern stood up from their chairs, heading slowly and threateningly towards me.
I sighed out. So much for avoiding attention. I turned back to stare at the man who was already looking at me, with a smirk on his face.
"Oui, you can't face me on your own." I blurted mockingly.
