It sure looked like he was going to kill Rufus who had stopped advancing only when he was just a few feet away.
"The person who's going to be getting hurt is you if you do not leave now." Adrian gritted.
"I'm not leaving until I hear from her that she's unhurt." Rufus countered stubbornly.
"What did you come here for, because we both know that it wasn't to check if I was hurt or not." I gave him a deadpan stare.
He shrugged.
"I wanted to talk."ย
"And you thought it wise not to knock." I stated bitterly.
"I didn't know that you were going to be busy." His eyes left mine only to stare at Adrian's cloak and shirt scattered on the floor.
He then turned on his heels to leave, but he stopped abruptly and turned his head to look at Adrian.
