"I was only serving my master, redeemer." She replied dryly. Not even an hint of fear was in her tone. Whispers were beginning to start, but one look from Adrian silenced them all.
"So it's true? You were just going to leave without saying anything to me?" I struggled to blink back the tears that were already gathering in my eyes, and I let my hand fall back to my side. I thought I was important to him. He was just going to leave without tell me.
"I left a message in your room."
"A message I would have gotten when you were already gone? Why didn't you tell me in person?"
"Because you'll want to go too,"
"I'm glad you know that." I stated dryly.
"You're not coming." He stated firmly.
"You can't tell me what to do, remember?"
"But I can make you do what I want you to do, remember?"
I scoffed.
"I'm a woman of myself, you can't make me do anything that I don't want to do." I matched his stare head on.
