She stared at me strange. Her eyes roamed all over me, lingering on my neck as if she could tell what activities I had indulged in, but I didn't care.
"Don't stare so much, I might begin to think that you have a thing for me." I rolled my eyes at her.
"I can see that you and the redeemer have been having an epic reunion." She grinned.
I could have smiled shyly or maybe blushed if things were how they used to be between us. Things were no longer how they used to be. She was no longer Amra, my pupil, no..she was someone else. An enemy.
"You see why I refused to show what I really am? It was to avoid getting that look on your face directed at me."
She murmured grimly. All traces of humor on her face was gone.
"It's inevitable. One way or the other, Amra, I would have found out that you aren't someone that I should trust. You are my enemy."
