When it comes to wedding Lagos people, what am I even saying, Nigeria people don't carry last. Jayeola and Bukola's wedding was of the biggest weddings. And what makes a wedding big is the kind of guests that are invited, the bride and groom's stance in the society and the amount of funds spent.

"Wetin Musa no go see for gate." Bolaji sat down angrily before taking a sip of water.

"What is it? Are you okay?" Claire asked curiously with her sweet British accent.

"Is it not that stupid Tobi guy. He had the audacity to wash me off in front of that she goat he called a fiancee." Bolaji cried.

"Bolaji this is Bukola's wedding. You afford to cry here." Claire embraced her.

"I thought you said you guys are done?" Claire added as she unfurled her hands.

"Yes, we were.... Yes, we are....." Bolaji stuttered.

"You still like Tobi, don't you?", Claire asked calmly.

"Tell me who wouldn't like Tobi? Tobi and I have been together for a long time now. Five years no be joke Claire." Bolaji cried as she quickly use her handkerchief to clean her face."

"So, what do you want to do now?" Claire asked as she pat Bolaji's back.

"I will remind him of the good old days ni. Someone cannot come and take my man away. It's madness that they use to cure madness. Violence is the way." Bolaji said frantically.

"Are you sure you want to be with the guy who you called off an engagement with two weeks to the wedding Bolaji? It is only a crazy man that will run back to you like that." Claire replied.

Bolaji looked into Claire's eyes coldly, "Claire are you for me or against me?" She asked calmly.

"I am here for Bukola not you." Claire replied.

Truth is bitter but it pains whenever it comes from a friend who you believe will always support you, but who will say it if not a friend? Bolaji should have been married since last year but her desire to get to the height of her career got the best of her. Bolaji is a twenty five years old model who has quite a recognition with International brands like Prada, Versace and the rest. Being a tall black woman in her prime, beautiful and elegant made her one of the world's top models.

"Bolaji! Balaji!" Claire said before tapping her.

"Don't touch me." Bolaji replied angrily.

"I have somewhere to go by 6:00pm and it's 3:30pm already. I don't like rushing to put my makeup on. It's a steady world baby." Claire flipped her hair.

Talking of the caramel colour skin girl, Claire is a sweetheart. She is the only daughter of an oil magnet Dunni Benson. A woman who forged her way to the top in the finance sector of Nigeria, If you know you know, corruption is real and someone like Dunni cannot be totally clean. Claire is a sweet tall lady with dimples which makes her smile more enchanting, hour glass shape and spotless skin.

The journey back home was a silent one. Bolaji was angry and Claire didn't know how to break the silence. Bolaji is not always cool whenever she is angry and Claire was not up to for a fight.

"I will be going out with my colleagues at work and I might be home late but not to worry I am taking my keys with me."

"Don't bother taking your keys, put it on the table." Bolaji hissed.

"You look cute whenever you are angry. Cutie, cutie." Claire winked at Bolaji which made her blush.

"You know I love you and I will always want the best for you." Claire added.

"Don't drink too much at the party. You know you are a bad drinker." Bolaji said as they both laughed.

"I won't drink alcohol, I will be sober. Don't worry."

It's an achievement for a Lagos babe as in lady to live in Lekki. No doubt somebody like Bolaji and Claire can't live outside of Lekki. Claire left the house before 6:00pm which left Bolaji solely in the house. The house is well furnished and another world on its own. The picture of the both of them was placed on the walls which was painted all white with the touch of blue which was used in making the sofas and the rest were wood and metal works. Bolaji made her way to the water dispenser when her phone rang just to display her mother's contact.

"Jesus, why is this woman calling now." She sulked before picking the call.

"Hello, Bolaji." Her mother shouted.

"Hello Maami." She replied.

"Bolaji, what you are doing is not fair o. I told you to see since you came back from London last month and you have not showed up till now. Kilode?" Maami shouted on the phone.

"I have been busy ma. I had a lot of work to do and I will soon be going to Miami for a shoot."

"Bolaji, if I am your mother and I carried you for nine months in this my womb, you dare not go on that trip without coming to see me in Ibadan."

"Maami, please stop it. It's not like I am playing around or something, I have been busy and I am sorry I can't split myself into two."

"I am still standing on my word Bolaji, you must see me before you go for the trip. Don't let me go nuts with you. You know me too well to misbehave."

"Maami what is it that you want to say that cannot be said on phone?"

"It is a family matter and your dad will also like to speak to you."

"Okay, I will let you know if I will come."

"As long as you are going for that trip, you must come to Ibadan."

Bolaji rolled her eyes in frustration. "Good night Maami. I had a long day," She cut the phone before her mother could reply.

"Ibadan ko, Ibadan ni. As if I have the time." She murmured as she sipped her water and continued scrolling through Instagram just for her to stumble on the picture of her counterpart at work.

"Mtchew." She hissed.
