"Gretchen," he calls her name with disgust.
They remove their hoodies to reveal their almost identical faces as they leave the edge of the roof.
Gretchen is about 6'3ft tall, she has a slender body and she walks majestically.
She has straight long black hair and pale white skin and her blue eyes stare down at Rachael.
"How the mighty have fallen. Now you date humans? I'm disappointed", "What do you want, wench?" "Where is Samuel?", Gretchen's companion and sister ask.
"Not around but I can tell you he will be glad to miss this," Gabriel says and the girl snarls at him, "Calm down Emily," Gretchen says.
Emily is about 5'12ft tall, she has much more flesh than her twin, Gretchen, her eyes hold a menacing look and her pale skin makes her look even scarier.
She has short black hair and attractive curves, any man would want a woman with her body but not the face she has now, the face of a ferocious vixen.
"Rachael, get out of here" Gabriel says, "If you move I will kill you, human" Gretchen says.
"Come with us," she says, "And why would I do that?" "Daddy calls," Emily says and Gabriel growls, "Not happening," "Then we will take you by force," Gretchen says.
Emily charges towards Rachael and Gabriel picks up the table he set like a piece of cloth and slams it on Emily like a plank on a cow's back.
"Run," Gabriel shouts as Gretchen attacks him.
She kicks his sides and punches him in the face but the sphinx absorbs her attacks like a breeze, he jerks her and tosses her onto the ground.
Rachael runs toward the elevator and taps the button many times before Emily appears beside her, "Where are you running to, human? Weren't you just about to take my sister's man?" Emily says.
Her cold blue eyes staring into Rachael's brown eyes and all she can feel is fear.
Gabriel charges toward Emily but Gretchen pounces on him leaving Rachael defenseless against Emily.
The elevator door opens, "What's going on here?" Elma says as she sees the vampire close to Rachael and another fighting Gabriel, "Get lost," Emily says and the blonde vampire smiles.
Elma's fist connects with Emily's face sending her backward and away from Rachael. "Elma," Rachael mouths, "Don't wet your panties love, get out of here and let the immortals handle this" Elma says giving way for Rachael to get into the elevator.
"You will regret that. Bitch" Emily says, blood dripping from the side of her lips.
"What? Did I punch too hard?" Elma taunts her. They charge at each other, snarling and tearing at each other's throat, exchanging blows and kicks.
Emily eventually overpowers Elma and pins her to the ground, "I am going to fuck you up," Emily says as she licks her lower lip, "Are you sure? You look like you want to fuck me instead" Elma says, "I am going to wipe that smart mouth off your fucking face".
Before Emily can take any further action, like bad news Gretchen comes crashing into her and freeing Elma from her grip. "You two have made a fucking mistake coming here," Gabriel's eyes emit a blue glow as his rage grows.
"We will be back," Gretchen says and the sisters run and jump off the roof.
Elma looks at Gabriel, "Are you sure this place is safe? Your girl almost got killed, you know" she says, Gabriel growls as his blood boils with anger, "She is safe, I am going to kill anything that tries to hurt her" "Even your ex?" "Even her," his anger standing at the top of his voice like Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay on mount Everest.
DRACULA'S LAIR
Count Dracula walks into the dark hallway; he passes a room with a broken wall, courtesy of Mary McQueen, he continues toward the end of the hallway and opens the door buried in darkness.
The two armored guards put some distance between themselves and the mirror in the middle of the room, "Hic sum, Pater" Dracula says and a pair of beautiful eyes appear, their beauty hiding the true evil to come.
"I heard your children escaped," the mirror speaks in a deep voice, "Yes, that was an unexpected situation" Dracula says, "Of course, when you do not know your enemy you are vulnerable to surprises.
What is it you want?", "The project is successful and the substitute body is ready. I have my men trying to get the boys so all I need now are your incantations,".
"You dare ask for my spell when you can't even deliver two little children," the voice says with disgust.
"You know, those two little children aren't children at all. You don't expect me to father weaklings, they will fight back", "I wish I could say the same," "Well, mirror mirror in the fucking room, you should take a look at a bloody mirror.
Are you giving me your fucking spell or not?" "You should mind the way you talk to me boy," the mirror says in agitation and Dracula rolls his eyes.
"I have sent the spell to two of my followers, they will join you in a few days", the mirror says and Dracula turns to leave.
He stops at the door and glances at the mirror through the sides of his eyes, "Father, you should mind the way you talk to your savior.
You may have my wife's soul but you still need me" he says as he stares with cold eyes and he walks out of the room, "And you need me, boy".
Dracula clenches his fist as he walks away filled with thoughts of pain and hate.
He never liked his father who left him and his mother to fend for themselves while heaven sought to destroy his kind.
Now that same father who made him live a life of fright and misery is forcing him to find a way for him to escape the flames of hell.
Dracula would abandon him any day but this demon of a father had the soul of his lover in his hands; that is the only reason he hasn't destroyed the mirror and its guards.
If he fails to keep to his word I will personally send him back to hell.
Dracula's thoughts are filled with hate, hate for his father, hate for heaven and even hate for his existence; the only person who made him appreciate life was her, Justina Szilágyi, his wife.
He will go to any length to rescue her soul, he curses the heavens for not accepting her and spits on the devil's name for keeping her in the pits of hell.
After the death of his wife he lost his way, he cared about nothing else even sacrificing many of his children in the past centuries but he was still stuck in the pit of darkness as sorrow would not leave his immortal heart.
Every breath he takes is torture without her, he never considers suicide for he is not brave enough to take his own life.
Besides the fact that it is difficult for him to die.
He enters his room which is engulfed in darkness like he stole the night for himself, he opens a window allowing the light of the stars in the sky to penetrate his dark haven and shine against his skin revealing his now shirtless body.
He sits on the windowpane and looks up at the sky; a memory of Justina and himself stargazing flashes before his eyes and his heart aches, he jumps off the window crossing his hands over his chest as he feels the wind blow against his back while he lets gravity pull him towards the ground.
Black wings emerge from his back and he turns midair so the ground comes into view and he begins to fly straight up into the dark of the night.
The Tremblays rented a cabin in rocky cabin mountains, New York so they can prepare themselves for the hunt to come.
This cabin is large with six rooms, the cabins close by are closed to the public; the land is covered by the beauty of the green colors of nature and it is the perfect place to set traps for the unsuspecting and ghastly visitors they may have.
Tonight the head of the family arrives, Marcus Tremblay, a hard man in his 60s with a ton of supernatural souls hanging around him like trophies no eyes can see.
His black jeep parks in front of the cabin and he stops to play with the black rosary in his hands.
Marcus Tremblay is not a religious man but his late wife was, she wasn't a hunter like him but she was a strong woman and this rosary was always with her.
It is now his way of knowing she is with him.
He steps out of the car, his suit complimenting his elegance as he wears his confidence like cologne.
Men come out of the house to carry his belongings and his little sister comes to welcome him, "Welcome brother," Kate kisses his cheek and hugs him but he shows no reaction as he grieves in his heart.
Marcus stands at 5'11ft and has a pair of cold-looking dark eyes that makes it difficult for most people to maintain eye contact with him.
The night's breeze kisses the top of his head which is bald and blows through the grey hair behind his head as he rolls his black rosary around his wrist.
Lucas Tremblay comes out of the cabin, "Just in time brother, we are starting to put things in order" he says as he walks to his older brother.
Lucas hugs his brother, he can see the sadness and anger behind Marcus' eyes.
Mary was his favorite sibling, her drive was like his and so it pained him when she chose Frank over her family but he loved her nonetheless.
He agreed to not get involved with her family so her daughter would not have to join them in their kind of world.
Even then, their world came hunting her until she eventually succumbed to the end of every great hunter's chapter, death by a supernatural.
Marcus walks quietly as he heads towards the entrance with nothing in mind but a plan, a plan to kill.
