Zeta was a lion beast with a huge build, these beasts were often used as mounts. The Nero family used a lot of resources to make Zeta into a flame lion. In this world, no talent could be gained through the system and there were restrictions on humans such that they were unable to use elements.
But this restriction did not apply to the beasts, the beasts in this world were able to wield the power of elements and Zeta was one such beast who can wield the power of fire. Nero family paid a huge price to make Zeta's power a reality as they wanted Zeta to appear similar to the golden lion which was the emblem and name of their kingdom.
But now Zeta belonged to Anna. In doing so Ast made sure that Anna was safe and also there was a new strong member on their side.
Ast started asking questions from Ray regarding this world, his family and the kingdom to which he belongs. Ast didn't have much time as he wished to be portrayed as a saviour by Ray so he can't take his sweet time chit-chatting with Ray so he has to be quick and precise.
Ast came to know that in this world there were many restrictions placed on the human race and beasts were usually way more powerful than them. There was no talent that was available to humans of this place or even the beast. He also came to know about the delicate balance of power that exists between the four kingdoms and recent ongoing fights.
Ast tried to gauge the time frame for the war between kingdoms as he needed to plan accordingly. Ray told him that war was not imminent as right now the golden lion kingdom was going through a phase of internal struggle, for the selection of the next heir to the thrown.
Ast didn't go into the details and then focussed on the main source of power for the humans of the Aldi continent. What Ray told him put him into a dilemma.
Ray told Ast about the existence of system temples where any human could go for the bestowal ceremony. In this ceremony, a person would be bestowed a weapon by the system, this weapon and its power would be unique to a person and through this weapon a person could gain unimaginable powers.
This piece of information put Ast in a contemplative mood, the structure of things was very similar to what existed outside the event but here talents were replaced by special weapons or 'bestowed weapons' as the people of the continent called them.
Ast was having doubts if this was all a mere simulation by the system or if something completely else was going on.
But before Ast could continue his train of thoughts Ray told him that there were people like them who have arrived from somewhere else, without any prior knowledge of this world and the people of the continent called them 'outsiders'.
Much information about the outsiders was not known and only the upper echelons of nobility or the royalty themselves were aware of the whole truth. People of the continent were only told to be wary of the outsiders and inform the military if they came into contact with them.
But being from the Nero family Ray was privy to one the secret info about the outsiders, like how the outsiders couldn't be bestowed a weapon by the system and many guards were deployed near each temple to check the very same fact.
The rulers of the kingdom were smart they had deliberately concealed this information so that when the outsiders learn of the powerful weapons that could be bestowed upon them they would go to a nearby temple to get such weapons for themselves but when in the temple they fail to do so the outsiders would be identified by the kingdom.
Although Ray didn't know if the kingdom was hostile towards the outsiders but he has been told that it was of paramount importance to identify and keep track of the outsiders.
Ast became warier of the situation inside the continent and now decided to move on to his next plan.
