I ran after the nurse "Give way, Get out of the way"! I yelled at patients and nurses. He ran through the stairs that led to the roof, We got to the roof then he turned back at me, I stopped running too "Who are you, Why do you want to hurt my daughter?" I asked him. He didn't answer so i asked again "what do you want?" This time louder. He started moving backward slowly to the edge "Hey, what are you doing? You will fall down" I said, I was getting scared, Is he going to throw himself off this roof? He couldn't right? I mean why would he do that?. "Stop, We can just go downstairs and talk,,,, That's all i want, To talk" I tried to reason with him. He started laughing, For some fucked up reason all i could think of was how Russian his laugh sounded, But it also seem like he was ready to jump,,,,,This man in front of me was not afraid to die....So there was only one thing left that i could do. Beg! "Don't, please" I pleaded with him "They will send another" That was all he said before he dropped himself. I could hear people screaming from where he left but one thing went through my mind,,,,Who ever wants my daughter dead was very....Powerful.

"Was i seeing things?" I asked myself. I got down to the lake but there was no one here. Did she see me and run away? Could that be it? Or was grand fathers confession getting to me?. I sat by the lake thinking about when i was little and how Athuro would beat me up like i was trash, He burnt me once with an iron. Me and Louise was very close as boys we never fought....But any time we did fight i was the only one punished. Athuro has made me sleep outside, made me sit in the rain, made me eat leftovers from the floor. Louise and i attended the same school, reports of Louis bullying and getting into fights was getting to Athuro almost every week. He hated that i was being praised and loved by my teachers and all he got from Louise was bad reports. -I got up and started walking around the lake, Admiring its beauty- One morning when we dressed for school he said to me "Go in side and change, you are not going to school today" i asked why but got a resounding slap instead, I looked at Louise for help but he only smiled and walked away. From 'You will not go to school today to you have to start working' I was shattered, All my dreams of becoming a lawyer dropped right in my face. I didn't go back to school, One year turned into two, Two years turned into three and eventually five Years passed me by at home, Teachers came to look for me and ask if all was fine, Athuro would tell them everything was fine and i would say yes too, not to offend Athuro, News got to my Grand father and he requested for me to go live with him. Athuro made sure i declined grandfathers request "He is going to school here so don't worry, He himself asked for a change of school" He told grand father.
He later enrolled me to a smaller school where i met Marie. She had so much enthusiasm and positivity, So much happiness around her, She felt like sunshine and was always giving good vibes that sometimes i wished some positivity robed off on me. At first my plan was to be her friend so i can learn a lot from her but then i made it a competition instead. When i am with her i always want to be my best, she made me feel something, I don't know what it is but it was something i didn't want to leave. That is one of the reasons why i forged a seven years working contract after school and made her sign it with out knowing what it was. It is illegal,,,,, i know, but i had to keep her one way or the other. *Sigh* If she found out she would probably kill me *laugh*. I tripped on some kind of stone and fell down. I got up and found a small passage right in front of me. It is a very tiny hole, About human size. Maybe this is where Alexandra followed. I stood up and followed the human sized passage knowing very well it might lead to a dead end.

I went back in to Marie's room to find Lisa sleeping. I walked up to Marie's bed side and held her hand "You have to survive this OK? Fight, This people that want you dead, they seem very dangerous". I looked at her and smiled softly "I wish i could swap places with you my child, Seeing you in this state is so heart breaking for Lisa,,,,,,And sincerely for me too". I wiped a tear that threatened to fall. "I know i have hurt you baby, I know i have wronged you both. Please wake up and scold me, Wake up and shout at me for the walking dead i was, Wake up and yell at me for completely leaving you girls to fate. Please child, please" I said as i bowed my head and cried. The door opened sharply so i raised my head up and quickly cleaned my tears with my left hand so Lisa wouldn't see them because she got up too to the way the door was opened. Two uniformed men walked in "Mrs Damton? You have to come with us" One of them said "For what"? Lisa asked and i looked at them too for the answer "For the murder of the young man outside" Clearly they didn't know who the Russian man was, because i notice they didn't mention his name, They probably haven't cleared his body. But why was i being arrested for his death? "What?" Lisa said and i jolted back to reality "I didn't kill him,I tried to stop him from jumping" I said really slowly. One of the police men walked towards me with an handcuff "You have the right to an attorney, If you don't have one, One will be provided for you" He handcuffed me and pushed me to the door. Lisa came towards me "No, she didn't kill anyone let her go" She said to the police men who paid zero interest as all they wanted was me "Its okay, Its okay baby, Do not leave your sister's side OK?....Stay with her no matter what, Do you hear me?" I said to Lisa who was already crying, She nodded in tears and hugged me "I love you okay?" I said to her then kissed her head "I love you too mum" She said crying,It felt good to be called Mum again, I didn't realise how much i missed it till now. I pulled myself away from her then i let the police men drag me by the hand with an hand cuff like i was a filthy piece of trash all the way to the entrance.
