CHAPTER 3: VANA FOREST
"Finally!" Manavi was also not sure about getting Atish into Sect would be that simple, She thought she would need to do more drama or even use her identity's power for Atish, but fortunately, she didn't need to do anything much other than the use of the recommendation card.
"Miss Manavi, Thank you for the recommendation, or I could never have been admitted into the sect on my own". Atish told her in a polite tone.
"You stop calling me Miss again and again. I don't like it," Manavi said with an angry but cute tone.
"Okay, okay Manavi mam, how is it now?" Did it sound good? " Atish said jokingly.
Listening to his reply, Manavi started to beat him, but not too hard.
"I think you should go now, take this uniform. You will get another one tomorrow as we are out of stock now." Go home and take a rest from tomorrow. You will be inside Sect for a very long time considering you did not even unlock the first level. " Miss Diksha instructed Atish after a while.
"Thank you, Miss Diksha," both of them said simultaneously.
After that, both of them took their leave shortly. While walking back to the entrance, some outer court disciples were staring at Atish as he was their archenemy. Atish was feeling somewhat uncomfortable, but he still did not show any unusual expressions. By watching his face unchanged, the disciples got enraged, and just as they were about to say something, a loud shout came from the entrance of the sect.
"Who is this weakling? daring to walk with my fiance's shoulder to shoulder. "
When the other outer court disciples saw his face, they cheered for him, because they knew that Ranjit Singh was one of the top male core disciples who had the highest chance to marry the Grand Master's third daughter, Manavi.
When Manavi saw him, she got stressed a little before ignoring him and continuing to walk alongside Atish.
"How dare you ignore me?" "Manavi" Ranjit Singh Roared in Rage.
Hearing his enraged roar, Manavi was so pissed. "And why do you want so much attention?" Manavi said it in a low tone, but it was loud enough for Ranjit to hear.
"Oh, so you started to talk back now. Nice, very nice. So those bunch of good-for-nothing disciples has got some real information this time. This little rascal has really seduced you, right?"
"That can be the other way around also, and why is it so concerning to you? I am not your property anyway," Manavi said in an enraged tone.
Hearing this, Ranjit's eyes got red from anger. He was on the verge of blowing up, but he controlled himself and smiled cunningly and replied, "Have a safe journey, Manavi."
Atish got a really bad feeling about this because his parents also got very similar threats before their murder.
"Miss Manavi, oh sorry Manavi, I am getting bad feelings about this," Atish said in a low, concerning tone.
"Yes, I know," Manavi replied quickly, continuing to walk with Atish until they reached the sect entrance.
"Listen now, go straight to the east. He will come for you, not me, so you should go in the opposite direction of my house." "He thinks you will come with me to my house so we can get out of this situation," Manavi said in a trembling voice.
Atish got shocked by my Manavi's tone and asked, "I thought you don't have fear of him by listening to your tone in the sect."
"Yes, because we were in the sect at that time." Because of my status, no one would touch me or my friends inside the sect, but outside the sect, things are different." After taking a breath, she continues, "Even outside the sect, no one will dare touch me, but the death of my friends will no longer concern the sect. So do you get it now? I am not concerned with anything about me but you. "
"You take too much care of me even though we barely met for 2 days." With a smile, Atish says.
"I am the one who put you in this situation, so it's my duty to keep you safe," she says with a light smile.
"Okay, I'll take my leave to the east now." Atish waves his hand in the air.
It was new to Manavi, as waving hands were not known in this Daivik world, but she still waves her hand as he does and shouts from afar, "Remember to come tomorrow at the sect. I will be there!".
"YESS!"
On the way to the east, Atish found some strange things on the streets, like people were murdering each other with no concern. He knew that it was a different world, but still, there should be some kind of law to stop this, how can the weak become strong if he is crushed before it?
As serious as it looked, Atish was not concerned about it anymore. He was just thinking about his dream now.
I know that was no normal dream, If that was really a future, then I have to become strong enough to reach the earth or else... hush. Atish did not want to think about it now.
He arrived at a forest after walking for three hours straight, but it was nowhere near as large or as dark as the first. After asking a local person, Atish came to know that this forest is called the Vana forest. It was known for its quietness by day but terror by night. There was no single beast to be found during the day, not even a small fly, but as the day faded, There would be different types of beasts, and many of them would even have reached the 4th level of power. Beast power was unclassified, unlike humans, so they were simply given a power level.
As Atish was not even at level 1, he did not dare step inside the forest even once. He was just scavenging some medicinal fruits from outside of the forest borders. After a few hours, he got bored as he sat under the tree. It was a nearly 100-foot long banyan tree, whose end was unknown.
Atish sat there, but unknowingly, he slept there.
Inside a dream,
"No, no, no, please say it's fake, please, it's just my imagination," Atish cries tragically.
This time he saw his wife getting ripped apart and being eaten by some kind of monster who resembled the Danav form of Danav bloodline members.
"Get angrier, you need to get angrier to awaken me. Get angrier" The voice from before resounded in his mind again. But again, he was awakened from his dream.
"Get angrier to awaken whom?" Atish's face was full of sorrow. He felt like someone had ripped him apart instead of his wife in that dream.
"Hey kid, run away from this area. It's already evening." An old man with a white beard scolded him when he saw him.
Atish was in his own world of thoughts so he really didn't listen or even see that there was an old man. When that old man saw his face, he also knew something tragic must have happened to him.
So thinking about it for a moment, the old man also sits beside him and says, "Kid, don't worry, what happened in the past cannot be changed, but you can change your future."
Listening to the old man, Atish's face got a new glow and he jumped up from his place.
Atish says in an apologetic tone, "Oh sorry Uncle for ignoring you first, I was just lost in some thoughts."
Seeing him getting cheered up, the old man changes his tone from soft to harsh again and scolds him to leave the forest. Atish doesn't say anything and runs out from the outer forest to the west again to the sect's location.
He still had to find a place to spend the night, so after getting near, he tries to find a hotel nearby, but before he could even take a look at the hotel, he hears loud cheers from the road ahead.
"Kill her brother"
"Yes, she is the one who thinks you are weak."
"Yes, what if she is a core disciple?" She's only recently turned 7th level. "
"Yes brother, you are 8th level. She is just an ant for you."
One of them was Ranjit Singh, in screams of rage.
Atish thinks about it and comes to a conclusion. "No, it can't be true. She must be the main disciple, but she is also new to becoming a core disciple, having just broken through the 7th level of Akasha power. "
Not able to control himself, he gets inside the crowd to see the situation, but when he saw it, he nearly got a heart attack.
"So it's really her, Miss Diksha."
Atish didn't know what to do because he couldn't even defeat anyone from the crowd. For him, beating level 8 was a dream.
Actually, it was Ranjit Singh's plan to use one of his elder brothers as a weapon to complete his revenge. He couldn't find Atish, so he tracked down the person who admitted him to the sect.
Not able to do anything, Atish just stands there like a statue. He was near sect but it was still a few hours far from here. There was no guarantee she would make it until then. While Atish was thinking about everything, a loud shout came from the crown.
If you hadn't given him approval, we might not have even touched you; killing is far from that. But things have changed now.
Hearing this, Atish again goes back to memories of his dream where his wife was getting killed and he was just able to see. This situation somewhat resembles that one. So Atish again went into his sorrowful state.
"Hold it, don't go all out, let the anger manifest at its peak." An ancient voice resounded in his mind, but this was no dream this time.
"What did you want?" Atish screams out of his lungs.
All the commoners and disciples who wanted to kill Miss Diksha, including her, looked in Atish's direction in a surprised manner.
