There is a group of people that seems to be injured from their walking unstably, two of the more abled ones including a tall dark-skinned man are carrying other guys on their backs. It seems they just escape a rough fight.
It was Draco and his group that decided to flee when they saw Pati getting scratched by the Tanker.
Even in Pati's human form can even match a Tanker's strength, Draco knows that his team won't be able to take on the Zombified Pati. If they stayed then they will just be sentencing themselves to death, writing their names to the grim reaper's note.
With nowhere else to go in their current state, they went back to Jericho Paradise Beach.
Since the Monthly Survival Knight has ended with them managing to reach the Safahaven, Draco's group doesn't suffer any casualties. Aside from that, a big part of their survival is played by Pati intervening in the Tanker.
