Pati looks down on his chest and finds the cut he received from the Zombie, it's wider than a pencil, already swollen, and purple energy is sizzling on it like a corrosive substance burning his skin. It makes his eyes widen as he was just winning.
The same goes for Draco and Abby that saw the gruesome wound on Pati's chest.
It was not something that they thought would happen especially seeing that Pati is starting to dominate the fight, but everything turns around completely when the Zombie manages to scratch him with its two sharp upper arms.
Although there's no conversation to be made, they already know what this meant.
Even through their struggle in the apocalypse fighting Zombies left and right, they are bound to see one of their apocalypse friends get eaten by Zombies. But aside from the Zombies trying to kill you, survivors need to be extra careful when dealing with them.
Only took a bite or a cut to turn someone into a Zombie.
