Upon hearing what Pati said the group was completely stunned, they were nervous knowing that they would be brought back to one of the four safe havens. Rumors started to spread to the survivors that are fending on their own that the four safe havens were safe but the people are very strict and even close to being crazy.
Not because of what the apocalypse did to them, but because of the power they possessed.
With the government falling as even the military compounds were destroyed, the entire city or even the world is for the taking. People that have power in this kind of time wanted that, it was a chance for them to live a lavish life of power.
Many of them live mundane life prior to the apocalypse, and now they can change that.
