But she was still dazed, looking at the kicked-out survivors that looks like the Zombies' cousins.
Yes, they were not a Zombie yet since they haven't died but their behavior is similar to that of a Zombie. Instead of fighting for their lives against the Zombies, they stayed in front of the entrance trying to spark some empathy.
Now that empathy is out of the window, they're trying to drag anyone down with them.

Most of the guards has darkened expression on their faces for having mixed feeling inside them.
