Satan said.
"Keep doing good deeds, it's the only way," Wu Xiaode said.
"Good deeds... if you ask me, burning down this prison would be the real good deed."
Satan looked around each cell, as if searching for some "good deeds" to do.
"We should give people a chance to reform, and besides, some are not deserving of death," Wu Xiaode said.
"That's true, come with me."
Satan led Wu Xiaode into a cell.
Inside lay an old man, gasping his last breaths.
Satan waved his hand casually.
A gentle breeze emerged from the Void around them.
The whole cell quieted down, becoming dark and serene.
Satan leaned in close to the old man's forehead and whispered, "Was he wrongfully imprisoned?"
The old man, eyes closed, struggled to open his mouth: "Who is it? How do you know?"
"I can smell all sins, it's my instinct, but there's barely any evil on you, not enough to go to Hell," Satan said.
The old man looked up at Satan.
