Chapter 2 - Humans from another world chapter 2

When the three of us went outside, we saw the whole school go. We asked the principal what was going on and he explained that because everyone knows we are strong, they are going to watch. We left at 9 in the morning and arrived around 12. It looked like a stadium with an arena in the middle. We rested and had lunch there. The matches started around 3. Our school was not too strong, so we lost some and won some.Principal of the second school: "I thought that your students will be stronger this year considering that you bragged so much."

The principal of our school: "Come on, you know me, I always keep the best for last."

It was Kana's turn to fight. She fought a weapon smith called Sumisu. Weapon Smith is someone who has spent his life learning martial arts using weapons but these were not ordinary skills or weapons. The match started with Sumisu throwing shurikens followed by smoke. Kana raised the stones making a wall as a defense but the shurikens suddenly increased in size and then she realized that the smoke that followed his weapon was his magic. The blade of a shuriken runs through the wall and almost slashes Kana. Kana counterattacks by lifting part of the arena and turning it into stones she then throws at him. Sumisu switches to the katana position and teleports behind her, cutting stones with a katana and cutting Kana. He pulls out explosives and throws them at her. Kana makes some distance as Sumisu takes out his bow. Kana runs along the edge of the arena and tries to reach Sumisu while avoiding the arrows. She reached out to him and Sumisu took out a spear and tried to stab her but she managed to touch him and used her magic stone coffin. The stone coffin is Kana's magic with which she makes two thick but hollow walls full of thorns that close and kill the opponent. To activate this magical power she must touch the opponent. When Sumisu saw the coffin, he put a spear between the walls so that they wouldn't kill him. He tried to run away but Kana covered his legs with stones and he couldn't move. She used all the magic she had to strengthen the coffin and managed to kill Sumisu, but she also fainted because she had no magic or energy. The referee decided that it wasn't resolved and that the next match will be held tomorrow due to the demolished arena (Sumisu's explosives and Kana's control of stones). During the night when everyone went to sleep I was awake and lying in my bed. A student from another school decided to kill his opponents in order to ensure victory for his school.I felt him, I didn't do anything because I wanted to see what he would do. I realized that he could walk on the wall because he was by my window on the third floor. He decided to leave, I felt that his desire to kill had slowly decreased. The next day it was Kensho's turn to fight. The principals gathered both schools and explained that because of yesterday's fight, they surrounded the arena with magic so that it would not explode and so that we could continue with the battles because in the next ones we have the strongest students from both schools. Kensho fought Tifuki. Tifuki was an esper. Esper is someone who has tiny holes all over his body. These holes serve as sensors. When Esper sees that the opponent is attacking and the opponent is blocking the light going to the sensors, then the sensors are activated and predict with 90% accuracy what will happen. Tifuki had incredible speed, so he used that as an advantage in this fight. Kensho went after him with his scythe, but Tifuki quickly escaped. He started to split in half and so he made clones. This magic consumed a lot of power and energy, therefore he couldn't use it much. The clones did not have the ability that Esper does, so Kensho got rid of them quickly. Tamashi, me, and the students of the other school who had a fight after Kensho were next to the arena, not in the stands, so as not to waste time coming to the arena. We saw that Kensho wanted to take off the bandage, so we quickly went to the principal and told him that if he took off the bandage, he could kill most of the students. The principal of the other school heard this and was surprised. Our principal said not to worry because the arena is surrounded by magic so everything should be fine. When we left, the principal of their school asked ours ``Is he really that strong?". Our principal laughed and said "As I said, best for last." Kensho looked at us, we nodded and he took off the blindfold. Since then, he has had no problem following Tifuki's incredible speed. Kensho used powers I didn't even know about, so I asked Tamashi what it was about. He told me that while I was training Kana, he practiced making, not only weapons , but also objects with a white eye. He took inspiration from the principal so that everything he made was glowing white. He made shapes that targeted Tifuki and various platforms and walls to make it easier to move and defend. Kensho went after him with his scythe and when Tifuki tried to hit him, he split in half and thus avoided the attack. Kensho started spinning his scythe over his head and threw it at Tifuki. Tifuki jumped and Kensho's scythe slammed into the wall of magic that was surrounding the Arena as Tifuki landed on his scythe. Kensho took advantage of the fact that Tifuki was close to his scythe and white eye transferred a lot of magic into his weapon and shaped the magic from the weapon into spikes then managed to stab Tifuki in the legs. This worked because magic does not cast a shadow, so Tifuki could not have foreseen and avoided this attack. Tifuki was a lot slower and neither had a lot of magic so they fought with their hands. Before he ran into Kensho, Tifuki sighed and held his breath. He ran into Kensho and they fought with their fists, and whenever he got a stronger blow, a small explosion of magic would happen. It is an automatic magic reflex that protects the user from any attack that does not contain magic. Kensho noticed that whenever that small explosion happened Tifuki would exhale some air and the magic that went into the air due to the blow would go to Tifuki through his holes. When he collected a lot of magic and ran out of air, Tifuki started breathing normally again and jumped on the ceiling of the arena. He sighed again and slammed into the floor of the arena from the ceiling. Kensho tried to attack him but Tifuki surrounded himself with a black ball. He saw all the magic from the air going into that ball. He realized that this is not good because every hole is in shadow and that he will be in trouble if he does not do something. He surrounded himself with his objects and set out to regenerate magic. When the black ball disappeared, we saw Tifuki, but he was not the same. He had no clothes on and was totally black as a shadow. He crashed into Kensho's objects at high speed and smashed them. Kensho tried to avoid him but failed. He received critical blows but we both knew he was just studying the opponent. He realized that this was a fusion and he wanted to know what his curse was. He saw that there were almost 10 seconds between each hit. Between hits Tifuki could not move. That was his curse. The principals watched this and our principal asked theirs "Aren't fusions banned?" And the principal of the other school replied, "Come on, you said they were strong, let's have some fun." Our principal set out to save Kensho, but Tamashi and I flew to him at high speed, stopping him. We told him to wait and that Kensho would not lose. He asked us how we knew. In fact, we didn't know either, but we knew that Kensho wouldn't give up. We watched from the air and saw that when Kensho was on the floor it was his chance. When Tifuki attacked him, Kensho had 10 seconds and used them. He took out his eyes and threw them in the air. His body began to change and his eyes merged into one bigger eye in the shape of Yin Yang. He had black and white markings all over his body and his horns grew. He slammed his horns into the ground and they came out of the ground and captured Tifuki. We realized this was his fusion and we were impressed. Kensho activated the fusion and his curse was to sacrifice his eyes but while in the fusion he has a 100% chance of hitting and winning. Yin Yang looked at Tifuki and the principal of their school wanted to rush to save him but it was too late when their principal entered the magic surrounding the arena, another pair of horns came out of the ground and caught the principal. The principal couldn't move and Yin Yang looked at him. They both soon began to bleed and his horns dismembered them. Yin Yang disappeared but Kensho's eyes did not return. That was his curse. Although we thought that the curse was active only while fusion is, he explained to us that he learned about different types of fusion and one of them is sacrifice. He sacrificed his eyes for 5 days to get an incredible amount of magic. The longer he sacrifices his eyes, the more magic he gets. Of course, he could not sacrifice them and then he would have a 100% chance to hit, but then some opponents would survive it. The judge decided that, because he killed the principal, Kensho was disqualified and so no school received a point. I was supposed to fight next, but the principal paused the test and called me from behind. I asked him what was going on and he told me it was urgent and that the fairies were calling me. One of the fairies was critically injured and they wanted me to heal her. They were too weak to heal such injuries and I owe them because they taught me regeneration. I told them I only knew regeneration, not healing others. They told me it was very similar. I need to do regeneration and redirect it to magic and cast magic on the person I want to heal. I asked them why I should do it and they told me that I have a large amount of magic and that only I can cure it. When we went to the room where the fairy was injured, I saw how bad it was. Since this was my first time treating someone else, it was not easy for me and I did not succeed. I told the fairies that it was easier for me to send magic without regeneration and that they should heal it while I give them magic. We held hands and I set out to pass on large amounts of magic to them. They went to treat her and after a few minutes, they said she would be fine. They thanked me and I went back to the arena. When I got to the arena I saw that there was no one from the other school next to the arena. I asked the principal where everyone was and he told me "A student from another school asked for something to be done about their principal and a strange request to insert a machine that would show the strength of the user's magic." Tamashi was with me while Kensho was in treatment. We had about 2 days so I decided to train. I asked Tamashi if he wanted to go with me and he said he would go with me but he didn't want to train because he thinks their school isn't that strong. We informed the principal that we were leaving the stadium and we set off. Shortly after we left we felt someone following us. We knew that there were students from another school who had to fight with us because the others were resting or recovering from their fight. We turned around and told them not to follow us even though we hadn't seen them. After a few minutes, we could still feel them, so Tamashi turned and slammed his chains against the ground. So he made a hole and cleaned everything around us and we found students who followed us. When we saw them, I felt the same aura of magic as I felt when a student wanted to kill our students to ensure victory. They asked, "Where are you going? Aren't you afraid you were going to die?" We told them, "We are going to train, and you saw what Kensho did to your principal. You should be the ones who are afraid." I asked the student, "Didn't you want to kill all the students at our school that night?" She confirmed but said she wanted a fair fight and that killing everyone would be boring. She said her name was Tsanumi and I told her my name while Tamashi and the other student looked at each other with a desire to kill. I told them to save it for the arena and everyone went their own way. We found some rocks and we decided to train there. I talked to Tamashi while I was training and after warming up I almost didn't hear it at all. I stopped training and told him i couldn't hear him and he told me it was probably because I was faster than the sound so he let me train and he laid down on one rock and rested. Since my bow was made of magic, I was able to put magic in it and make blades at the ends, and trained to adjust them to my speed. After a long time, I learned to make airwaves with a bow swing. I was getting faster and faster and it seemed like everything around me was moving slower. I was fast enough to walk in the air. A few hours passed and I still could not master walking in the air because it took an incredible speed for that, which I could not maintain. After many hours of training, it got dark, so we started to return to the stadium. The next day I had to fight and we saw the principal of their school and asked ours what they did to revive him. He didn't know either, but he pretended it was normal. We met with Tsanumi and asked her where the other student was and she said he stayed in his room. There was a machine next to the arena so we asked her if she knew anything about it. She told us that she asked for it to see how strong we are because she wants to have a fair fight with the strongest student so we accepted that and tested the machine. The machine displayed a number that signified our magic. I had a larger number than Tsanumi but when Tamashi used it the number was 0. We both assumed the machine displayed the magic of the body Tamashi used so we kept quiet. Tsanumi wanted to fight me so we went to the arena. I wasn't too fast without warming up, so I started fighting with a bow and arrow. The closer the arrow was to her, the slower it went. She explained to me that she is a mutant who should not be alive but is because of the school she goes to and that is why she wants to win this fight because it is the least she can do for her school. She said that she has a mixture of powers and that is why she wants to fight with the strongest in order to be fair. I laughed and told her I wasn't the strongest but I like the way she thinks so. She rushed at me at high speed, making stone clones by mixing them with water. The clones were made of mud, so she could harden them whenever she wanted. I had to avoid them but they were as fast as she was. I fired an arrow into the air that made it rain arrows and headed for the Tsanumi. When I approached her, she stopped time and I could not move. She blew me away and I hit the wall of magic that surrounded the arena. She told me I had no chance against her in close combat. I started to warm up, avoiding her attacks. After I reached maximum speed I attacked her and she stopped time again but I could still move a little left and right. I used it to slow down everything around me with my maximum speed and I was able to move through her stopping time and I got a good shot. I pushed her away from me and then she started to fight more defensively. She created a lot of clones with the magic she had left because stopping time consumes a lot of magic. While I was fighting with the clones, she regenerated the magic. She made a water dragon to ride on. I still had the maximum speed, so I made waves of air with the bow. I made a lot of them to make a wall and I hid behind it. When she didn't see me, I went behind her and kicked her off the dragon. As she flew she turned the dragon on me and threw lightning at him. Lightning went through the water and hit me. Due to the lightning, I could no longer go fast enough to slow down time or make airwaves. She wanted to use that I was slower and took out her weapon and showed that she has four hands. Her weapons were the chakras. Chakras were metal hoops that had a sharp edge on the outside. She surrounded the chakras with magic and made blades at the ends and threw them at me. I surrounded my hands with magic and grabbed them, but she started to control her magic around the weapon and cut my hands. I couldn't use my hands to fight, so I used my power to transfer all the reflexes into my hands and stood on my hands. I stood in the middle of the arena and blocked her attacks with my feet while making minimal steps with my hands. When she got the chance, she grabbed my legs and threw me. I stood on the wall of the arena and finished the hand treatment that I started while standing on my hands. I took out a bow and made an ice arrow. I shot it to the floor and turned it to ice and so I froze her legs. When I approached her, she didn't have enough energy to stop time, but she managed to slow it down. She made a clone in front of her to block my blow and melted the ice with fire. I realized that she could use almost any element, but she hasn't used air yet. We went to fight with our fists and I asked her if she knew how to use air. She said she didn't know and asked me about the airwaves I make and if I'm Elemental. I told her I was an ordinary man and then she was surprised that I was so strong if I was an ordinary man. I told her we could talk about it later and that she shouldn't lower her guard and gave her a kick. I centered all the magic from the bow in my hands and the center of the bow and set off rapidly to shoot it with ordinary arrows. I hit her in the arms and then she tore them off and replaced them with magic. The magic was not stable, so she could not use them normally, but she could still block the blows. She wanted to end the fight because she knew she couldn't fight for long. She put stones over my legs and I couldn't move. She made a tsunami and surrounded herself with a wall of fire. Perfect attack with advanced defense. She thought she had won but I put my arms together and a statue with a bow was created behind me and with the rest of the magic I had I made a big arrow and the statue fired it towards Tsanumi. It cut through the tsunami and the firewall and hit her and made a big explosion. She was on the ground and I could barely stand. She asked me "why don't you finish this" I didn't kill her out of respect and I said, "you are not a bad person, you do this for school like me and I respect that". She thanked me and apologized to her school for losing. Kensho came after my fight and was sad that he missed it but happy that I won. He still had no eyes but no more bleeding and no injuries. I pulled Kensho and the principal aside and told them that if something went wrong they would have to build their arenas around Tamashi and opponents. We waited for about an hour for Tamashi's opponent to show up and when he finally showed up they could start a fight. Even before the fight, they wanted to kill each other, so we knew that neither of them would told back. We heard from the principal of their school that his name is Maho and that he is the strongest in the school. Maho started the fight with his weapon and it was a deck of cards. They were very sharp because they were surrounded by magic. Tamashi used 4 hands and grabbed the cards. He threw them into the ground making smoke and threw his chains through the smoke. The opponent barely moved to be far enough for the chain to almost hit him but did not catch up. He threw the cards again now with even more magic and Tamashi hit the ground with chains raising the stones in front of him which he used as a shield. When the cards hit the rocks, they exploded and the explosion injured Tamashi. He connected all four chains with magic into one and threw it toward Maho. Maho barely moved again and then Tamashi transferred a lot of magic into the chain so that the magic could extend from the end of the chain and reach Maho. Maho received a critical blow and then became serious. He stood in a strange position and pulled out a deck of cards. The cards started flying in a circle around him, and when he waved his hand, several cards flew to Tamashi. No matter how many cards he threw, the number of cards around him did not decrease. When Tamashi managed to get closer, cards formed into a shield and defended Maho. He made steps out of cards and started climbing them until he reached the roof of the arena. Then he clapped his arms together and blew toward Tamashi. The tornado grew from the center of the arena and attracted Tamashi. He rammed the chains into the arena and held on tight. He sighed and held his breath and entered what he called a suterusu. While in this mode, whatever he does, it cannot produce sound. I asked Kensho when he learned this and he said that Tamashi talked about it at school but Kensho didn't know when he learned it. The tornado disappeared because Maho could not see Tamashi, so he thought Tamashi was dead. When he lowered the guard, the chains started flying toward him and Tamashi tied him up and threw him around the arena. He threw a purple card and when it hit the wall of the arena, he teleported to that place. He prepared for his final spell and has started sucking all air out of the arena. Tamashi didn't need air because he only used his body even though he was a soul. Since there was a vacuum in the arena, there was no air resistance, so Tamashi was much faster. Maho couldn't believe it and got angry. He transferred all the cards to the defense and although he did not see Tamashi due to his speed, he still managed to block all attacks. While defending himself from Tamashi's hits, he regenerated magic. After a while, the cards stuck to his body and Tamashi stopped attacking. The cards outlined his body. Maho used one of his strongest powers "ultimatum: Kill or be killed", then many huge cards were created behind him and the pictures from the cards started to come out of them. For Tamashi, the people on the cards were like Titans and he didn't believe he could win. He tried to fight against Titans but realized he should just kill Maho. He ran toward Maho but the Titan hit him, causing him to fly across to the other side of the arena. Then, with the rest of the magic, he entered the suterusu. He was invisible and therefore managed to hit Maho. At that moment all the Titans started yelling and screaming. Maho said "ultimatum: be killed" and then all the Titans turned into thousands of cards that were slammed into Tamashi's body .We couldn't believe it and we thought he was dead. Out of anger, Maho kicked Tamashi's body and it flew to the other side of the arena. Then his body started emitting something that looked like smoke. It was very thick and black. We felt an indescribable amount of magic. It had no shape but when Tamashi opened his eyes they were pure white and I shouted "Arena!" and the last thing I saw were glowing yellow chains. A few seconds passed and the principal's and Kensho's arena exploded as well as the magic around it. Then a huge explosion occurred. When the smoke cleared we saw a strange creature, Tamashi, and glowing yellow chains from his back that pierced through Maho and killed him. Tamashi said it was the creature that visited him when he died. Tamashi asked the creature what he was doing here and it told him that it was here because of him and because Tamashi had control over his soul even though his body had died so it had to intervene. He put rings and chains on Tamashi that went from the rings into his skin that served as limiters. Limiters would block any amount of magic greater than he could use while in the body. He asked him if there was anyone he could trust. Tamashi said that he had Kensho and me, and then the being telepathically connected us so that we could talk without opening our mouths, but if we were far away, we would have to use magic to talk. The creature gave us papers that were seals that we could put on Tamashi if something went wrong.
