"Sensei! Open the gate, please~~!"
Yes, that's how the late students whined to the school gatekeeper and a teacher who was there.
The teacher looks angry, he shouted at the crowd of students who were late earlier. Takumi couldn't help but stare at all of his teacher's nagging. Takumi was full because almost every day he got that scolding.
Takumi looked around. He was looking for the teenager who passed him earlier. However, suddenly someone grabbed Takumi's arm and made him run. Takumi was stunned for a moment, before finally he was forced to follow the figure's hand pull.
They had run far enough, and now they were near the great wall. Takumi didn't say anything since then. He was still searching for his lost memories. Takumi was sure he had seen the young man before. But, he didn't remember where they first met.
"Hosh, hosh … this sucks! Why do I have to be late on my first day of school?" muttered the figure who had grabbed Takumi's hand earlier. He crouched down as he caught his breath.
"Oh ... so this is your first day at this school?" asked Takumi. He studied the teenager in front of him from head to toe. The teenager was fair skinned, dark eyes with green irises, dark brown hair.
The teenager raised his face. He smiled at Takumi.
"Yes, this is my first day of school here. Please help!" The teenage figure bowed towards Takumi.
Takumi frowned.
"But you don't look like a resident here."
"Yes, I do come from abroad. I am of Japanese-German descent. Introducing, my name is Inukawa Len. Please help!!" Once again the young man who claimed to be named Len spoke excitedly.
It is true. At Takumi's school, Ashiya International School, is an international school. And many students here also come from abroad.
"Ooooooh." Takumi just said oh joy. He then stretched out his hand towards Len.
"Nice to meet you too! My name is Takumi Akazawa. Please cooperate too."
The young man immediately grabbed Takumi's hand. This was their first meeting, but Len gave an indescribable smile.
"So you came late on the first day of school, did you?"
"Yes, Akazawa-san. I'm very sorry." Len said, looking sad.
Takumi then patted his left shoulder. "Get up! Once at the top, help me up too. I always do this when I'm late," said Takumi, boasting about his disgraceful act.
Len frowned. Didn't he hear wrong? The man she had just met was going to help him get past this barrier? They even just met. Ah, what a good man, thought Inukawa Len, the young man who claimed to be of Japanese-German descent.
Len did not waste the opportunity. The important thing is to arrive at the building behind this high wall. He didn't want to tarnish his good name.
Len stomped his right foot on Takumi's thigh, followed by his left foot that went up to the teenager's shoulder. After struggling to sacrifice the teenager's thighs and shoulders, Len finally managed to climb up. He extended his hand towards Takumi.
"Come on up too!"
Takumi who was still below smiled kindly. He took Len's outstretched hand and climbed up easily. It seems, Takumi has often done this action before.

As usual, all students at Ashiya International School come to school to study. However, that's not entirely true. Some go to school just to fulfill their parents' wishes, some are really looking for knowledge, some just want to be in a band, some just want to meet a friend or someone they like.
Takumi has a reason to just snack and play with his friends. There's a new student at Takumi's school today.
