Chapter 1 - Bestfriend

"Oii... Akazawa-san!!"

"Oii... Taku-chan!! Get up quickly! We'll leave you behind if you don't wake up too!"

The noises were so disturbing Takumi's deep sleep. His eyes slowly opened. The first thing he saw, were his two classmates who were now sitting around him.

"Oii... don't lie here all the time, Taku-chan!! This will annoy the guards of this theater building!!"

"Right. You're disturbing them, Akazawa-san!!"

Itsuki and Riku created the noise. Since then they had been shouting to make Takumi come to his senses.

For a few seconds Takumi was silent to collect his life. Before the end, Itsuki splashed Takumi's face with a bottle of mineral water. Yes, so that his friend's consciousness returns more quickly, he thought.

Takumi immediately got up nervously.

"WOY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING, MINAMI?!" Takumi snapped at the blonde haired teenager. Itsuki does have descendants from abroad.

Itsuki didn't answer. He just smiled at his classmate's reaction. Itsuki seemed to be keeping a secret.

Riku, their other friend, pinched both Takumi's cheeks roughly.

"Eh? Are you all right, Taku-chan? I was really worried when you shouted from inside the theater. You're not possessed by this theater's watchman, are you?" Riku asked, panicking.

Takumi pushed Riku who was in front of him. He felt uncomfortable if Riku treated him like before. Takumi frowned, not understanding why his classmate was worried about him.

"What am I doing, heh? Why are you worried like that, Riku?" Takumi looked around. This is in the backyard of the school. A few meters from it, there is a theater that has not been used for a long time. And when he was Takumi was right under a shady tree.

"Eh? Why am I here?" asked Takumi, to his two classmates, Itsuki and Riku.

"Well, that's why, Taku-chan! We really want to know what you saw earlier, huh? You screamed when you were in the theater alone to pick up your cellphone that was left behind. Then, luckily Itsuki and I were there. Otherwise, you must have died in that theater, Taku-chan," said Riku.

"I don't remember anything. Really!" Takumi tried to remember what happened. However, his head felt dizzy every time he forced himself to search for his memories.

"Well, the most important thing is that you're awake by now. We have to go home soon! It could be terrible if our parents realized we were leaving in the middle of the night like this." Riku spoke.

"I don't need to be afraid of anything, Riku. I live alone and there's no one at home, Riku. So, no one will care if I come home or not."

Takumi answered with a sad smile. He did live alone at home. His sister lives in a dormitory, while his father lives abroad. Their mother died when Takumi was 7 years old.

While remembering that, Takumi felt very sad because of loneliness. Takumi really wants his house to be crowded someday.

"That's it ah! Let's go home, Itsu-chan!" Riku tugged on Itsuki's arm. Leaving Takumi still confused.

After a few minutes, Takumi realized that he was alone in a dark place like this.

Strange and terrible voices suddenly sounded. Takumi looked up to the top of the shady tree, Takumi saw the white cloth fluttering.

Takumi took a thousand steps and caught up with his two classmates.

"ITSUKI!! RIKU! WAIT FOR ME, OI!! YOU HAVE TO STORY HOW I COULD COUNT IN THERE?!" Takumi shouted while running.

After being able to catch up with Itsuki and Riku's footsteps, Takumi patted Riku's shoulder and forced the young man to turn around.

"Hosh… hosh… actually… what exactly happened to me in that place, Riku?!" asked Takumi, having managed to catch his breath.

Itsuki patted Takumi's shoulder to calm his friend and normalize his breathing.

"Follow us first, Akazawa! It seems ... this isn't a good place for us to tell you about everything that happened." Itsuki spoke with a mysterious smile. The same as usual. Itsuki is classified as a strange student according to their friends.

Takumi nodded and tried to understand. In the end, Takumi followed Itsuki's footsteps.

After the three of them were at a cafe and ordered apple juice, Itsuki started to talk.

"Here's the story ...."

"This is about the theater behind our school. There is a terrible legend circulating that reaches the ears of the three of us. At midnight, the sound of a piano will be heard from this empty theater. People who hear the sound of the piano, then people it will be cursed." Itsuki said while putting on a serious face. So, no one would think that it was just a lie.

After all, Itsuki had also done something to Riku's memory, so that they all believed Itsuki's words and it was as if the three of them had indeed experienced it.

"That's right, Taku-chan!"
