"Okay," Vin said, "Let's do this."
He smiled and walked towards the waiting arena. Mostly, half of the Northern Kingdom watch all what would happen on a display screen, while the others would come over to have a seat.
The arena had been filled up. Each voices screaming through the air, each smiles and shouts of encouragement never leaving the audience lips.
"Do your best!"
"Fight, but don't hurt yourselves."
"The mages are watching, so be careful. No cheating."
"Best of lucks!."
These were only heard and Vin, he couldn't actually do anything, but watch. For now, it would be others turn to fight and definitely, not his.... Yet.
Some of the contestant sat beside him with a look of anticipation. One of them would have to fight through the contest and at the end, each skill displayed by the contestant would find valuable to the supreme mage.
