Lucas couldn't contain his curiosity and had to ask about what was happening above them.
"Lucas, we're all dead!" Lin said with a serious expression, not a trace of humor, as this was no laughing matter.
The villagers were taken aback upon hearing the word "dead."
"Yes!" Lin stood up and replied, "Let me explain what has transpired so far."
The villagers nodded eagerly, their curiosity piqued. Lucas, in particular, wanted to know what was happening beyond the protective barrier that Snow had erected while battling Zarmon.
"Firstly, Zarmon is not just an ordinary demon or even an A-rank demon. He is the highest-ranking demon in hell, surpassing all others in nearly every aspect. The only ones capable of facing him are Snow, who is currently fighting him, and possibly Akio. But the one person I am certain can defeat him is Lucard."
"Lucard?" Lucas raised an eyebrow. While unfamiliar with the name, he had heard it mentioned frequently.
