"So he could increase the strength of his whip, '' Vin replied calmly. "And also nourish the darkness within…"
"Come to think of it," Snow, who spoke up not quite long, paced the forest. His right hand behind his back and the other calculating what couldn't be seen, "Aragon actually didn't kill you. He wanted you to witness the strength of his powers–"
"Powers which aren't at a full length. If Aragon was to unleash the beast within, the entirety of Gravidanza would meet its doom" Vin said, interrupting Snow who couldn't help but stay still in surprise.

"Can we focus on the fact that a crazy demon just killed hundreds of innocent lives and how it happened it's still unknown?" Eden quickly broke their conversation. He had stayed quiet regarding this situation which didn't come with full details. Rather, a point here and an explanation there.
