The large door of the palace went wide open, leading the Villagers out.
They had their jaws dropped at the devastated sight. Not only that, but the sight of dead bodies scattered around made the mothers close their children's eyes, not wanting their delicate soul to face such traumatizing sight.
"We will help with the clean up and also the burial." A knight offered.
The Villagers were also dumbfounded at the sight of the state of their houses.
"It would take days, weeks or even months to rebuild all this destruction" One of the women cried.
"We sent help," The knight assured her. "So, please, hold your horses, we will get back to you."
The air was tense and sober was the environment. Lots were lost, but many, saved.

Not far from where they all stood, horses, numbering hundreds, came forward, ridden by men who were dressed as knights as well.
