Chapter 34 - A dangerous side

Vin slowly walked through the pathway leading to Elaskor, he knew someone was watching (and following) from behind.

Shutting his eyes, he allowed his other senses to do the trick.

'The sense of smell'

His eyes shot wide open when he knew who it was.

[Damnit! Sebastian is here. How can I get rid of him? Every turn I make, he follows intelligently.]

Looking at the three sides, Vin increased his speed, not wanting to lead Sebastian into the town nor know where he was headed.

Knowing Sebastian would continue to follow him no matter what, he had to use a different method.

"Goodbye stalker" he whispered to himself, while opening a portal, leading into Mrs Carolyn's home.

Before Sebastian could pick his location, the portal quickly shut.

"Lord Dravil, what are your plans?."

___

[That was a quick wrap.]

Vin effortlessly walked out of the portal. He had never felt so good, ever. Running away from the most crafty demon who suddenly began following him-

Vin stood unmoved for some moments when he had to think about the situation at hand.

"Sebastian, following me? Why?"

Before his brain could pick up a certain explanation, he heard Mrs Carolyn's voice downstairs.

"Please, leave. I don't have anything to give you!"

"You better look for something to give us, or else you won't have a hospital again" an unfamiliar male voice said. Sounding more like a thug.

"I've given you everything you asked for. And now you still want to take my shop?"

"We didn't say we will take it so heartlessly. We said if you don't give us the money, we would or should I say could."

"Fine, take it!"

"Oh, you are one good lady. See you later."

Hearing all this conversation, Vin rushed down. Only to see the men were gone.

Curious and worried, he asked, "Who are they? Where are they? Tell me?!"

Carolyn could only walk past him with a sad expression. Not a single word left her mouth. Her face had bruises and some cuts.

"Please, tell me" Vin reconstructed his tone.

Sighing, she looked at him, before speaking up, "Well…. They are thugs"

"Whoa, I'm just knowing that-"

"Don't you dare try that sarcasm on me" Carolyn raised a stick she saw closeby, ready to strike him on the head.

"Sorry Ma!" Vin surrendered, knowing any other word would cost him a good beating.

"... For some months now, those men would come here asking for some money. They said My husband owed them some debts. I knew they were trying to scam me, but what I never knew was their ability to bring down my business and close the only way I get money. So, without anything to do, I had to give them 50% of my earnings. Not only am I being scammed by those dimwits, half of the residents of Elaskor are."

Vin nodded in Understanding.

Suddenly, he got up, heading outside.

"Where do you intend on going?"

With a sly smile, he replied, "To pay a friendly visit to some men"

"Oh, don't play wanna-be-hero, we will find a way out of this mess." Mrs Carolyn assured him, as she got up.

"Where are Lucas and Eden?"

"They went out to gather some ingredients for dinner."

"Okay…"

The sound of the door closing made her turn back with a jolt. However, Vin was nowhere to be seen.

"Oh God, please protect that foolish boy." She prayed, knowing the kind of danger he was heading into. Again, she never knew the type of boy Vin is as well as the power which flows in his veins.

Through Dravil's veins.

Meanwhile,

Vin strolled down one of the busy streets of Elaskor. On each side, one would tell the thugs would be around there somewhere.

'Advanced Hearing'

He pushed some of his hair strings behind his ears to pick a good sound and also to clearly listen to where they were.

From chatting and chatting, then…

"Looks like we made a jackpot today!"

He recognized the voice. It belonged to the man who came to Mrs Carolyn.

Sucking in a good amount of air, he jumped from the ground and rushed with great force and speed, into the house where the men all sat.

From the roof, he broke in, landing on the table where they all sat down.

Numbering to more than seventy in the entire building, they were all armed.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" Vin squatted on top of the table, both arms on his knees and a wide smile spread on his face. "Looks like specks of dirt are sitting around, enjoying the money others spent on. How disgraceful!."

"Hey, who do you think you are? Busting into this house with that disdainful attitude of yours!" A man, who seemed to be the leader, spat out.

"Who do you think I am?" Vin threw back the question at them.

"A scumball child who will soon get destroyed!"

Immediately the man said this, the others, numbering ten rushed to him with their weapons raised high.

Vin didn't block the attack, neither did he dodge it. He merely stayed in his position, not lifting a muscle. There he was and also on this spot, he used 0.1% of his power to eliminate the "bugs" (so he called them.)

"Die!"

A single word from Vin's mouth did the trick.

The man's heart ruptured from inside. And their muscles exploded. Their bones keeping them in shape were broken into tiny pieces.

All those who were present had their jaws dropped at the very instant.

"Kill that bastard!" The assumed leader screamed at the other, making them all fight.

Vin however, drank a cup of beer on the table. Not swallowing it, he kept them in his mouth, then, he spat the liquid out on their faces.

Snapping his finger, they were all set ablaze.

Vin removed his hood, adding more terror to their souls.

"Time to die, you losers."

___

Approximately four minutes After the fight.

.

Vin walked towards the leader, who was already on the floor, begging for mercy.

"Please, I have a family!"

"You could have also thought of that, when you scammed others who had families," Vin stepped on the man's right hand, tearing it out of place.

The man let out a loud scream.

".... Those families also told you the same, but you showed no mercy. Now how can I show you mercy? you loser!" Vin leaned closer to the man, his eyes glowing red, enough to Pierce through his soul. "I'm a good guy, but you are the bad one. You hurt people here despite their begging. So, before morning, give those people back their money or I'll slaughter you."

The man trembled, nodding in Understanding.

"My lord shouldn't stain his clothes with those blood"

Vin looked back, his eyes seeing what he had done before setting on who just spoke.

"Sebastian?!"

"My Lord," Sebastian bowed, elegantly, "If I may speak…"

[Damnit! He found me.]
