After three days, Rosina finally visited Gastone. She knocked on the front door, but there was no answer. However, she could smell him.
"What is he doing?" Rosina muttered as she opened the door. She was about to go to his room but smelled his scent in the garden.
That was when Rosina saw Gastone lying on the ground looking dirty while staring at the sky.
"Gastone!" Rosina called, but she was ignored. She walked closer and stopped beside Gastone. "Are you okay?"
Rosina saw the dark circles under Gastone's eyes and how stressed he looked.
Gastone's eyes glanced at Rosina. He knew she was there but had no strength to greet her. "You're finally here. I have been waiting."
"Ah, we're investigating something. It's still ongoing, but I think it will be fine," Rosina explained. "Now, are you ready… or do you need more time to prepare?" she asked cautiously.
"I'm fine, ugh," Gastone groaned as he sat up, his bones cracking.
