"Who is that?"
"It's my first time seeing her outside."
"Is she a noble or a commoner?"
The whispers echoed around the garden as the ladies gossiped about Rosina's arrival.
Most ladies and gentlemen had befriended each other, not solely for mating but for connection, especially among the nobles, which were the sons and daughters of the Alphas.
Rosina turned deaf toward the murmurs and focused on enjoying her time alone. Although, Fina and Sal were trailing behind her. She glanced back and saw the two with their head held high.
Rosina had thought that she'd go strolling alone, but they ended up coming with her, which she didn't mind, but it proved that she was a noble.
"We should go to the labyrinth. There are newly bloomed flowers around the fountain," Sal whispered to Rosina.
"Okay, let's go there," Rosina agreed since she wanted to avoid their stares.
When they got closer to the labyrinth, Rosina heard muttering and muffled voices. She glanced back to see if Fina and Sal heard it too, but they looked unaware.
"This way, Lady," Fina stated and gestured toward the right side of the path, but Rosina kept hearing the voices on the left. Somehow, her instinct tells her to go that way.
Without a word, Rosina went toward the left side at a faster pace. The two servants were confused but didn't question Rosina's decision and followed her.
Rosina turned several times, and the voices grew louder and louder with each step until they turned toward the right side and saw four women. The three ladies were surrounding the other, sitting on the ground while holding her cheeks.
Rosina held her right hand to stop her servants and gestured for them to stay behind.
"What's happening here?" Rosina stated firmly and walked toward the group, who calmed down and fixed themselves at Rosina's appearance.
"Nothing is going on here," one of the ladies spoke, walked in front of Rosina, and showed dominance by standing a few inches from her.
Rosina maintained her calm and looked at the woman's eyes, unafraid of her. "I think it's the opposite of what I've seen."
"This girl has guts, Allegra," Femia, one of the ladies, spoke while looking at Rosina from top to bottom.
"Is she one of those noble dogs too?" Fulvia stated and went beside Rosina and sniffed her before glaring at Fina and Sal behind Rosina. "She's a noble dog."
'Well, what do we have here? We got two dogs to play with," Allegra laughed, and her saliva splattered over Rosina's cheeks.
Rosina smiled and glanced at the girl on the ground who remained there. She could see the girl trembling with fear, and her eyes screamed for help.
"Get up," Rosina stated. Her voice boomed with a command that the girl couldn't help but scramble to lift herself, but she was kicked by Fulvia back onto the ground.
Rosina's breath hitched upon seeing what they had done. Her eyes stared back at Allegra, who was eyeing her closely. "Do you know there's a punishment for peasants who dared to touch a noble blood?"
Allegra scoffed at Rosina's words. She even went closer to create a little distance between them. This action spoke authority to dominate the others who wouldn't back down.
"What will that be? Dog," Allegra stated mockingly, and her two minions laughed behind.
Rosina remained silent since she was trying not to engage in a fight because she knew how it would end.
"Don't treat our lady like that!" Sal stepped forward to defend Rosina, who couldn't hold back any longer.
Fina grabbed Sal's arms to stop her, but it was too late. Sal went in front of Rosina to block Allegra with her body. That action pushed Allegra backward, which she didn't like.
"This filthy servant!" Allegra shouted and raised her hand to slap Sal across her cheeks, but Rosina was able to prevent the action before it landed.
Rosina's grip tightened around Allegra's wrist. Her eyes became bloodlust as her calm demure snapped in an instant that someone dared to harm them that didn't belong to them.
Rosina glared and twisted Allegra's wrist, breaking it in the process. "How dare you touch my servant with your filthy hands," she stated disgustingly, pushing Allegra away while pulling Sal behind.
"Don't interfere," Rosina whispered and looked at her two servants before facing the three women with their furious eyes on her.
"Ha! What kind of noble defiling their hands for a mere servant?" Femia stated and looked at Rosina mockingly. "You lowered yourself too much, noble."
Rosina smiled at them innocently, but her eyes showed the opposite. "Leave, or you'll get the price of your actions."
Hearing what Rosina stated, Allegra, who was their head, sneered, and without hesitation, she went toward Rosina and was about to pull her hair.
Seeing what they intended to do, Rosina rolled her eyes at their childish bullying, but before they could do anything to her. Rosina punched Allegra in the face using 15% of her strength.
The impact was too much for Allegra; her body flew against the labyrinth wall, destroying the plants along the way.
"What have you done!?" Femia yelled and rushed toward Allegra, helping her to lift herself from the ground.
Fulvia gritted her teeth and launched an attack on Rosina in the form of a slap. She was too serious that it would inflict damage that Rosina couldn't help but laugh.
"Do you think that would really hurt me?" Rosina stated with a laugh before she held Fulvia's arm and kicked her shin bone, which made her fall to the ground.
Rosina didn't want to harm them since they were ladies and the issue surrounding their original victim was none of her business, but she wanted to teach them a lesson, so they wouldn't do it again.
"Listen here, peasants, next time I catch you bullying another wolf, I'll make sure that you'll meet the Moon Goddess earlier, understood?" Rosina stated firmly, indicating that she would kill them next time.
