If only he wouldn't have acted on his impulse and listened to her side of the truth first then this day wouldn't come. She would be in his arms safe and sound.
"Officer, let them know our location now. We have to hurry." He said to the officer who accompanied him.
"Don't worry. We will absolutely bring Ms. Scarlett back safely." Said the officer
Ezra nodded at him then suddenly heard a car door slam from deep inside the junkyard. He eyed the razor wire at the top of the fence. It would be easy enough to get around. He had a feeling that was the only thing about this that would be easy.
Ezra's head snapped up as he heard a sharp female cry.
Scarlett!
"Let's get in right away." He said.
Ezra threw his helmet on the ground and cutt off the conversation. He hooked his foot into a link in the chain and hoisted himself up, hoping that backup would arrive before it was too late… praying that it wasn't already too late.
