The Wolf is tired of the stand still and how Alex is looking at him as if he is the prey, so he lunge at Alex.

A wave of water washed over the blood wolf and send it further back, opening up the distance between Alex and the wolf.
"You okay?" Luke worriedly asked.
"Nah, am fine. Just a near death encounter" Alex nonchalantly replied as if what he gone through is nothing.
'The wolf will probably attacked from the sides, so all I have to do is dodge and then a horizontal slash followed by a diagonal slash.I will jump back and then dash at it, when in range I will jump high and slash down with an overhead swing'
Alex planned out how he will attack the beast in his head and all that remains is putting it into action and executing it.
When Jake and Luke attack it, the wolf dodge all of the attacks while moving closer to Alex in the process.

The wolf swipe at Alex with it's claw, seemingly wanting to remove Alex's head in one go.
Alex sidestepped but the speed of the wolf has ruined his plan and he is scratched again on the chest, living him with a cross shape scar.

The blood wolf's claw clashed with Alex's sword.
'It is very fast and is able react in time and block my attacks' One of his planned attack missed again.

Thankfully the diagonal slash he planned is able to succeed in hitting the beast.

Alex immediately jumped back, just as he did the wolf's claw hit where he had been standing before.
"Phew, what a narrow escape" Alex exhaled, he forgot that he had been holding his breath since due to the pressure and intensity of the fight.
Alex's landing was perfect and he is now dashing at the blood wolf.

When he entered the vicinity of the blood wolf's attack, it horizontally swipe with his claw.
Alex barely managed to jump over it and now he is in the air falling at an extremely fast speed.
Alex held his sword over his head and when he drop down, he completed the last part of his combo with a successful overhead slash.

As Alex placed his hand on the blood wolf, the absorption began and he feels that he will get bored soon if he is to just keep his hand on this beast until the absorption is done.
While the absorption is going on, new bloodlines kept on popping up in his vault but he decided to check the shifter Emperor's gift.
