It was early October people at bulbule valley were busy celebrating Dhashain. Dhashain remaining and celebrated for 15 days. First day of dhashain is ghatasthapana and people at bulbule valley planted Jamara inside their home. Similarly they worshipped god for every 10 days. Finally the day to put tika and jamara and received dashina had arrived. Children kept their promises after receiving money dhashina from their parents they ran to the gulmohar ground. Sanu arrived first and rabin sabin arrived together and at last kancha kanchi arrived.
"How was your dhashain" kancha asked.
"Nice" children said.
"All of you take out your money we will have a party" Kancha said.
"Sanu took out the money first" kancha said.
"Here is it" Sanu said.
How much money you earned?Kancha asked.
"Its Rs 100" Sanu said.
"Oh that's many" Kancha said.
After that rabin took out the money.
"Here are mine" Rabin said.
How much you earned? Kancha said.
"Its Rs 80" rabin said.
"That's many your parents give you much money." Kancha said.
How much you earned? Kancha asked to sabin.
"It is Rs 80" sabin said.
"How much your parents give to you" kancha said to sabin
"Each of them give Rs 40".
"Friends kanchi and I have less money totally we only can manage us Rs 80. Our parents give us 40 each". kancha said sadly.
"Don't worry". sanu said
"Don't worry it wont ruin our party any way we should have a party. Stop being worried money" rabin said.
"Lets begin" sabin said.
"Ok friends all of you give me your money first we will count money then we will buy foods".
All of them gave kancha their money.
Sanu: Rs 100
Rabin: Rs 80
Sabin: Rs 80
Kancha: Rs 40
Kanchi: Rs 40
Total money is Rs 340. What we supposed to buy. Kancha said.
"I want noodles" Rabin said
"I want chips" Sanu said
"I want biscuits" Sabin said
"I want candy" Kanchi said
"I want juice" Kancha said
Come with me Kancha said.
Five children come out from gulmohar ground and walk above.
There was a one block house. There was a shop infront of house. Shop has a shutter and it was a small shop. There was electric pole near that house. They went to that shop.
"Hello uncle" kancha said.
"Hello children how are you how was your dhashain" Uncle said.
"It was joyful" Kancha said.
Today is tika and yo children are busy playing instead yo should be at home uncle said
No we are free. We already celebrated dhashain at morning and at day we are free and
decided to come here Actally we aren't plaing instead we are having party today. Kancha said
Wow party you children are always joyful.
"What you want? "Old uncle said
"We want three noodles, one salt biscuit, one cream biscuit, one chocolate biscuit, one cocont
biscuit, one buttery biscuit". Kancha Said
"Ok "Old uncle said.
Uncle took out noodles and 5 biscuits and gave to the children.
"That's all" uncle said.
"No we want more" kancha said
"We want 5 packet of chips and 5 packet of orange juice and some candy" Kancha said
"Ok" uncle said,and took out the chips juice and candy and put in to the polythene bag and
gave it to the children.
"How much does it cost" Kancha said.
"3 noodles for Rs 50
5biscuits for Rs 50
5 chips for Rs 100
5 orange juice for Rs125
Some candy for 15 ruppees
You can give me Rs 340 "uncle said
"Oh that's all we have". Kancha said.
Kancha took out the money and gave it to the old uncle.
"Wait this is from my side". Uncle said
Uncle gave some candy to the children for free.
Children became happy and took the more candy.
Old uncle was more than 70. He had white hair and white bread. His forehead had wrinkle.
There was wrinkle around his eyes also.
Children came out from shop walked to the gulmohar ground. They reached gulmohar ground.
They sat under the gulmohar ground .There was a plain area and green lawn under the
gulmohar tree. They sat under the gulmaohar tree.
Kancha gave 5 biscuit to each of them. Kancha gave chocolate biscuit to sanu Butterly biscuit to
kanchi. Cream biscuit t rabin .Salt biscuit to sabin .He kept coconut biscuit to himself. He gave
orange biscuit to each of them and kept one to himself. Then he gave each packet of chips to
each of them and he kept one of packet to himself. We have only three noodles so we have to
share it. Kancha said.
"Ok" children said.
"I am hungry "sabin said
"Lets begin" Rabin said
Sabin opened the packet of noodles and kanchi and kancha oened the packet of noodles. They
put the soup masala and shaked it. They ate noodles first. All of them shared noodles they ae
directly from packet they put their hand inside the packet and grab from hands and put it into
mouth.Then each o them opened their packet o biscuit and ate it. They ate chips.
"I tell you a story" kancha said.
"Do you want to listen" Kancha said.
"Of course" Children said.
Kancha begin to told a story,
Kancha said "Listen carefully
There were two birds living together happily inside the jungle their name was silu and roshan .
One day Roshan male bird asked silu the emale bird don't you think I should go outside the
jungle to make us more prosporeous. We can have a big and beautiful houses and more food.
Silu that is a good idea bt I still afraid to left you alone I am afraid If you let me and be with
another girl.
Roshan said "Why would i do so. You must turst me."
Silu said "i allowed you to go outside but i still don't trust you".
Roshan "Ok i will go outside and returned with you safely and faithfully."
Next day Roshan decided to go abroad
At that moment Roshan carrying a bag in his hand said to silu: Silu i am going outside far from
this jungle to earn some money so we can have big and beautiful house and some food so in
the name of faith lets match our thumb. When we departed So in the name o trust we believed
each other and i returned to home with you safely and faithfully. But silu didn't take it seriously
and didn't match the thumb.
Roshan smiled and flew away. Silu sat in their room and kept silence. In the same day roshan
flew outside the jungle. He sat under the tree. He put out the blanket from his bag and decided
to sleep. Before sleeping he think of silu and promises he think why didn't she matched th
thumb and kept her promises. While sleeing there was a big a big storm outsid. A tree branches
had broken and a piece of cracked wood oierce the roshan thumb. Unfortunately the wood was
of poisonous tree. That poison spread all over is body and he died.
Next day another bird whose name was sahas live near to roshan and silu flew over the tree. He
saw Roshan lying and he went close to him ad realized he died.
He quickly flew inside the jungle by carrying roshan in his arm. He told every story to silu. He
told he die because of poisonous tree whose branch pierce her husband thumb and he died
because of poison.
Then she cried cried cried she realize she cant kept her promises so he might died she always
regret and look to roshan who never returned,.
All children choked.
Meanwhile wind blowed very slowly and hit the tree of gulmohar ground and near to the
entrance one branch broken and fall above grasses.
What was that! Sanu said
"Nothing, it might be wind" kancha said.
Have some juice kancha said
They all drunk juice
At last they ate candy.
Ok now its time to go home.We should go home our parents would be worried about us. So we should go home now. Kancha said.
Right we should go home now. Children said.
"This is such a good day don't you have fun". Kancha said
"This is my sweet moment ever nice story kancha". sanu said
"This is happiest day anyway nice story kancha." Rabin said
"I have so mch fun nforgetabe day for me nce story kancha" sabin said.
"Good memory for me i never knew you have a such a good story hid within you 'kanchi said.
They laughed and came ut frm gulohar ground. Gulmohar ground had a gate at front but at
back it was open there was a wooden bar surrounded gulmohar ground but only at front side At
back it was open.
Children came out from gulmohar ground walked for a while took their first left and walk a
village lane and reached the straight paved road.
While they were walking they saw old aunt kamana coming towards them. Old aunt house is
between sanu and rabin house. Her house had only two rooms. Her home was made with bricks but no plaster outside. Old aunt name was kamana she always kept her eyes on rabin.
Look old aunt kamana she is coming to us.i am quiet sure she again scold rabin. Kancha said.
Kamana auntcame to them.
Today is dhashain and you children are not free from playing and you rabin you should stay
with your parents. Kamana aunt said.
"I am going home to stay with my parents" rabin said.
Then they walked again.
First rabin and sabin separated.
Their house come first and their home were opposite to each other.
"Oh i have to go now" rabin said.
"Bye rabin "children said
"Bye" rabin said
"I also have to go now bye friends" sabin said
"Bye"children said
After rabin and sabin house old aunt house came and after old aunt house sanu house came
subsequently.
"Ok sanu bye" kancha and kanchi said sanu nooded her head and said bye.
At the end there was kancha and kanchi house. They together went to their home.
