Chereads / The Devil’s Brother / Chapter 31 - Ch.31

Chapter 31 - Ch.31

Lucifer

"Sir, that's impossible." A servant shook with fear in front of me.

I loved having this power over people. Making them shake as they try to read my thoughts. As they feared for their life.

It was satisfying and gave me some sort of thrill.

"Impossible?" I placed my elbows on the large oak desk infront of me and leaned forward.

"Well sir, if he's in Heaven we can't get him." The little ipos flinched as I stood from my chair.

"Fine. Can you at least confirm he's up there?" I asked and walked around the furniture so I was directly in front of him.

"Well kind of. Well yes. Maybe." The iPos took a step back as I released my demon hand.

The hand was burning hot with power. I haven't let it in years. Today would be the day I feed it though.

"That isn't an answer. Last chance, Is he up there or not?" I cracked my neck and raised my hand.

"Yes! He's up there!" The Ipos flinched and shielded his face.

"Good boy. Was that so hard?" I smiled as he shook.

"N-No S-Sir." He bowed at my feet and I nodded with approval.

"Please don't kill me. My wife is with child." The ispo whispered.

I bent down to his level and looked him dead in they eye. I could see the beads of sweat through his thick fur.

"That's wonderful. But what makes you think I care?" The population down here didn't need to grow anymore.

We were swimming in demons.

"Lucifer?" A silky smooth voice called from the large oak wood door.

I look in the direction of it and found Aosoth.

"Well hello there,love."

🤍🤍🤍

Paimon

"FOOL!"

"Please sir, I'm innocent."

I watched as Lucifer stood over a poor Ipos. His hands shaking with fury. Fire burned in his eyes and the ipos' face paled.

If I lived in the kingdom I would be begging for Lucy to let the poor man go. It usually worked.

In the moment. Then I'd find the same creature out back with its head shredded to pieces.

It was no use in blowing my cover. I needed to get in and out quickly.

With two other really big demons.

🖤🖤🖤

Lucifer

"I'm just really worried about Paimon. He's never been gone this long." Aosoth shuttered as she attempted to hold her tears in.

I felt pity for the girl. Paimon was the only friend she had down here. But that's what happens when you're practically a succubus.

"He'll be home in time, love. I can assure you." I took her hands In mind and squeezed tightly. Her cheeks heated and she looked away towards the door.

"Are you hungry, Aosoth?" I asked bringing her attention back to me.

"Yes Sir," she nodded slowly, biting her lip.

This girl was going to regret that.

"Let's eat then," I gave her my slyest grin and let her from the office into the main corridor.

Her hand remained in mine all the way to the end of the hall where we stopped in front of a large wooden door with velvet padding.

This wasn't the dining hall, but rather my bedroom. I had hardly brought anyone here. But where's a better place to ruin your brother's best friend?

"SIRE WE HAVE A PROBLEM!" The iPos from earlier came hurdling down the hall almost into Aosoth.

"Watch your footing, Creature. What is so dire you must disturb me?" I crossed my arms in hope of keeping my emotions under a wrap.

"Paimon was just here." He spoke out of breath.

"Excuse me?" I looked at him, astonished. How in the world did he get here without us knowing?

"Pai was here? Is he okay?" Aosoth grilled into the poor creature as my thoughts spun.

He wasn't here for fun.

"What'd he do?" I bumped Aosoth out of the way and got up close and personal to the Ipos.

"He let every prisoner out, Sir." The iPos flinched As I straightened my back.

Anger boiled deep in my core.

"He is killing not only hell but earth. Does he not realize what he just did?" I ran a hand through my thick hair and pulled at the strands.

This was going to cause a fucking war.

"See, sir, he broke the portal. No one is getting out anytime soon." The ipos covered his face. That wouldn't save him.

I need to hurt something. Or someone.

"Very well. I will deal with this soon." I took a deep breath and grabbed Aosoth's hand.

"Where are we going?" She asked as I unlocked the door. Her face dropped with realization as I escorted her deeper into the red room.

"Holy fuck."

"This is going to be anything but holy."
