"What are you saying, old man?" God scrunched his eyebrows together trying to understand the situation.
I was trying to understand it myself. Zeus said that Kratos, whoever that is, Myself, and him could take on the battle and be the key together.
How is that possible.
"I'm saying my family can be the key to Heaven and Hell winning." Zeus spoke confidently.
"That's true. But what if you weren't the only one fighting?" Paimon finally spoke.
"What do you mean, demon?" Zeus and God said in sync.
"I'm saying if the 3 of you are so powerful on your own, what if we added a few more powerful beings into the equation?" Paimon looked over to me with a smile.
"Like?" I questioned him.
He was not participating if this thing was soon. He still wasn't 100 percent even if he looked it.
"God for an example. Thanatos,Hypnos, Apollo, Eros, Hermes...Do I need to name more?" Paimon crossed his arms.
I knew who Apollo was. My brother. Or I suppose half brother?
My dad is a bit of a man whore if the Greek mythology text books were accurate.
"Hermes wouldn't work. He's the messenger for the underworld. Never trust the messenger." Zeus shook his head.
"I think it's "never kill the messenger". Not never trust the messenger." I spoke quietly.
"Not in Hell and Heaven." God smiled at me.
Okay then. I need to remember earth and Heaven/hell aren't the same.
"What about Poseidon?" Zeus suggested.
This sparked a laugh from God.
"Oh yeah. Let's have the battle on top of the Pacific Ocean then too." He chuckled harder.
Zeus just shook his head.
"Ares and Athena?" Paimon shrugged.
"That's actually a good idea,Paimon." God nodded.
So we have what, 9 gods? That would be enough, right?
"We still need a few more. We will be battling the whole underworld and half of hell if I had to guess." God slugged back in his chair.
"What about Artemis?" I loved her in high school. I did all of my projects on her and his ancestry.
"How could you forget about her!" God smacked Zeus's arm.
"Ouch! You didn't think of her either!" Zeus hit him back.
"Children! Children! Calm down." Thanatos clapped his hands.
It was like one big daycare up here.
"Since we are going to recruit Artemis, should we get Hestia?" Paimon asked Thanatos this time as god and Zeus were still bickering.
"I suppose but we would have to go to the Athens. They only accept Virgins there." Every head turned towards me.
"Woah! Bold of you to assume I'm a virgin." I nervously chuckled.
"Are you not?" Zeus crossed his arms, a deadly look in his eyes.
"Oh no! I am! But fuck you guys for thinking I am to start." I crossed arms of my own.
"So Ivy will go to Athens and get Artemis and Hestia. Paimon you'll go get Athena and Ares. Thanatos you can go gather Eros and Poseidon-"
"We are not recruiting Poseidon. Nope." God shook his head.
"We have to at least ask him or he will have a tantrum." Zeus sounded worried about that.
They were like toddlers up here.
"Fine." God covered his face with his hands and groaned.
"God and I will gather Kratos, Kypnos, and Apollo. Meet back here when you have your gods or goddesses." Zeus stood and we all followed.
Great. But how do I get to Athens.
"Psst," Paimon whispered to me.
"What?" I answered loudly.
"God has a Pegasus in the courtyard. Tell it where you want to go and it'll take you." Paimon smiled.
"Thank you," I returned the smile and he began to walked towards the exit.
Without really thinking, I grabbed his hand and pulled him back to me.
"What is it, love?" Paimon gave me a sly grin.
"Nothing dirty you skank," I smacked his chest.
"Mhm," he bent his head down and placed a soft kiss against my lips.
"Be careful. Please." He basically begged.
"You too," I kissed him a second time and turned towards the courtyard.
