Moments passed as long ren and Yun Ning finally finished their meal. Even with two person eating a portion meant for one, it still felt a bit too much. Granted, Yun Ning already ate, but the point still stands.
Yn knocked on the table the same way Diona did and the same thing happened, all the dishes on the table disappeared.
"How does that work?" long ren asked, a bit intrigued by the machinations he saw. He felt some spatial fluctuations after Yun Ning knocked on the table, quite a complex one as well.
"I don't know, it was here when I arrived, you can ask Master though, she's the one who installed all of these things," Yun Ning answered while shrugging.
It seems like long ren could only get answers from Diona, something he isn't quite keen to do. There's just something that bothered long ren about Diona, something he can't quite put his finger on.
But then again, it's probably because Diona hated his habit of oversleeping, something he felt strongly about. Their first impressions of each other couldn't be said to have started in a good light.
Though, if given the chance, he'd ask Diona about this intriguing matter, only if he didn't have to work for it.
Putting that aside, long ren and Yn returned back to long ren's temporary room and talked for a while.
long ren felt they have passed the awkward phase of the relationship as everything they talk about seemed to flow naturally.
From normal everyday shenanigans, bragging about their masters, cultivations mumbo-jumbos, everything just felt smooth.

"So, you'll stay here tonight right?" Yun Ning asked and sipped a glass of milk tea after.
long ren, holding his glass with the same content nodded, "Sure, it's quite late already and I love alone anyway, I'll just tell Master that I'll be visiting him later," He said, and sipped on his glass.
"This is good, Your master has a lot of good stuff, I might need to ask for some later," long ren said. He enjoyed his stay here, mainly due to Yun Ning, but everything else only elevates his enjoyment.
So much convenience in this house, it was as if he lived with the convenience of earth, sometimes, even more.
Automatic dishwasher? Check.
Stupidly good food at every moment? Check.
Comfortable room with AC-like feature? Absolutely Check.
long ren felt very tempted to ask if he could just stay and live here too as it provides way too much benefit for the lazy him, but it'd definitely be quite awkward. Both with Diona and Yun Ning.
So he wisely chose not to, as any normal person would.
"Mn, her stuff is all high-quality and unique, I've never seen them before I met her," Yun Ning nodded in agreement, her master is very mysterious after all, even to her.
Even until now, Yun Ning had not, to a full extent, grasp her master's position or power. She had given her a lot of undeniably priceless items and artifacts as if it was but a piece of paper. long ren faced the same situation, though not of this calibre.
Yun Ning sipped at her tea once more while looking at long ren's idle face, a blush slowly appeared as she remembered her master's mischievous words, quite perplexing really,
'Master is too perverted for her own good, haaaa,' Yun Ning thought, sighing loudly in her mind. She had tried begging her master to tone down her perviness but alas, she would not listen even for just a bit.
Yun Ning quickly got rid of those useless thoughts and asked, "Do you really want to spar tomorrow? We can reschedule if you'd like," She said, still a bit worried about long ren's condition, both mentally and physically. "I did hurt your shoulder quite a bit," She continued, showing an apologetic smile.
Yun Ning waved her off, "It's fine, you did it for my own good anyway, your pill helped a lot too, See?" Yun Ning said as he moved his shoulders, free of pain. "Besides, as I've said, we haven't done it in a while, I'm raring to go too, especially after all that."
Yun Ning smiled in response, happy she did not hurt her friend.
She really was angry before, more so annoyed really as long ren's way of thinking completely baffled her and thus she vented to relieve her anger, just a bit. A few dislocated shoulders and shattered bones were all it took. Just a bit indeed.
"Okay, if you say so," Yun Ning said with a smile. She looked at the clock beside her and it showed [01.54 PM].
"I think we should sleep, maybe we'll start tomorrow at three?" Yun Ning asked as she got up and cleaned the place and dusted her robe.
"At 3?"
"Mn, I assume you wake up at one or two? Considering your…unique sleeping habits," Yun Ning said, a wry smile etched on her face. She had given up on long ren's unique habits, just as she had given up on her master's.
At least both of them have something in common, Yun Ning thought.
long ren scratched the back of his head and smiled, "Hehe, thank you, at three then?"
"At three it is." Yun Ning nodded.

Silence ensues as the both of them didn't quite know how to part ways, it was both their first times having some sort of sleepover aftr all. So, long ren decided to just jump the gun,
"Well, goodnight Yun Ning, see you tomorrow." long ren said, waving his hand
Yun Ning smiled and waved hers as well, mimicking his movement, "Good night to you too, sleep well long ren." She said and slowly left long ren's room, bringing away the tea set they just used.

long ren stood at the now empty room with an icy fragrance permeating around him, acting as the only remembrance of the past hour.
He positioned the chairs and tables back as he got ready to take a night's rest.
Today had been perfect. A bit too good even, as for him, it was but a dream come true.
He hopes for this dream to never end.

(A/N: A bit of slow-paced SoL chapters, just to calm long ren's mind down even more. Romance will not come anytime soon, as even now, he still thinks that their friendship is something very surreal. Unless Yun Ning was the one to make the bold move, then it will only come after long ren completely accepts their situation.

Chapter 51- SoL Numero Dos / Movement in arts
Inside the luxurious bedroom, Long Ren was laying on his futon that he laid on top of the fluffy bed. Extra fluffiness!
He had his head completely smushed in between his pillow and futon blanket, almost leaving no room to breathe, yet his face showed an expression of pure bliss.
One thing his futon lacked is its lack of fluffiness on the bottom layer, but with the luxurious bed providing it, it's simply perfect.
Long Ren slowly opened his eyes and groggily woke up. As usual, he rubbed his eyes and walked into the bathroom, only to realize his bathroom was not there.
*Thud*
'Oh yeah…Yun Ning.' Long Ren thought. His mind was now more awake after bumping his head against the floor as he slipped on the long drapes of the bed.
He rubbed his head and headed toward the bathroom of the room. There lay a big white bathtub, only fit for kings and queens.
He had not taken a bath since yesterday, making his body quite uncomfortable. He quickly took off his pajamas and started filling the bathtub.
'A water heater system is already installed…why am I not even surprised.' Long Ren thought as he twisted the handle, letting steaming hot water flow into the bathtub.
'...I wonder if Diona learned this from someone from earth…or if it's commercialized already.'
*creak*
Long Ren stopped the hot water from flowing and let the cold water flow, leaving those unnecessary thoughts behind as he slowly dipped into the bliss of the warm water bath.
"Ahhh…this is heaven…" Long Ren whimpered happily, as he looked and played around with the weird and unique things near him.

Dozens of minutes later, long ren, wearing his usual cultivator "robes" (T-shirt + jeans), left his room and walked downstairs.
He marvelled at the interiors as they blew him away. He did not get the chance to experience them like yesterday, he focused solely on Yun Ning.
Now, however, he gets to marvel at every little new thing and instance.
A casual dozen of fired-up candles resting atop a grand crystal clear chandelier, lighting up the hallway, even though sunlight from the windows already illuminated the hallway.
Long Ren looked through a window and saw multiple small 2.5-meter tall sakura-like trees blooming in the backyard.
Its flowers flowed with the wind just as Diona pushed strands of hair off her face. She continued tending to the nearby flower patches as she noticed Long Ren peeking through the window and smiled at him.
Long Ren only smiled and waved back, manners and all that stuff.
Quite an extravagant lady, Diona is. She seemed nice, barring all the hate on oversleeping.
Long Ren soon arrived at the room housing the extravagant dining table, only one seat was filled as maids stood behind the filled seat, ready to bid to any orders.
Long Ren felt confused. How were there maids here when he clearly saw none yesterday? It was as if an omnipotent being forgot to write them in…weird.
Long Ren quickly shook those thoughts off, even omnipotent beings made mistakes after all right? Right?
Anyway, the one seated there was none other than Yun Ning, much to no one's surprise.
She sat there, one hand holding a hoop-like tool made of wood, holding a cloth in place, as the other stitched a drawing onto it.
Her figure looked so serene as if nothing could disturb her peace of mind. Noticing his gaze, Yun Ning looked up and saw Long Ren waving to her.
"Morning," Long Ren greeted Yun Ning and sat beside her. He looked at her working hands with curiosity.
Yun Ning returned a smile, "Morning to you too, I didn't expect you to wake up this fast," She said.
Long Ren looked at the clock and saw [12.22], "I didn't either." He said. He just woke up naturally at 11, which is very unnatural.
Guess he really could not wait to spar after such a long leave of absence. "Have you eaten?" Long Ren asked
Yun Ning shook her head, "I'm waiting for Master," She said, then tilted her head, hand on chin, and continued,
"She did say you'll wake up around now…how'd she know…" Yun Ning closed her eyes, trying to figure out her master's mystery.
"...how…maybe it's just a coincidence," Long Ren shrugged it off, it was probably only a coincidence anyway, no need to go all deep into it.
"Maybe…" Yun Ning said, "Anyway, we'll wait until Master finishes tending her garden."
Long Ren nodded, he then turned his attention to her flowing hands, it moved quite naturally as if every movement had its own meaning.
The embroidery seems to already be half-done, an outline figure of a small puppy already formed.
Its posture mimics one of barking while a small bone was held in its jaws. Long Ren had never seen the so-called movement in paintings or artworks, yet he could almost feel that in her embroidery.
Captivating. That was all Long Ren could think at that moment.
Yun Ning looked at long ren's agape face and chuckled, "I'm nothing much really, Qi can help a lot in forming these movements," She said, then her expression turned quite down, "Especially when you didn't even look at the one I gave you,"
"Ugh…stop…" Long Ren made a pained expression, his clenched hand clutched his heart, "I'm…sorry," Long Ren whimpered,
Yun Ning saw his antics and giggled, her hand covering her laughing mouth as Long Ren followed and laughed along.
"I'll wear it after we spar,"
"Mn, I know," Yun Ning said and nodded, satisfied.
The evening passed peacefully as they talked. Diona joined in soon after and ate their lunch together.
