After discovering Long Ren's newfound cultivation speed, Long Ren felt very elated, and, Xing Lao even more so.
While Long Ren thought of this increase as a lot, he does not have any comparisons to see whether the increase is normal or not, but Xing Lao does.
Xing Lao had never heard of such an increase in cultivation speed, never in his 100+ years of life!
Long Ren had already received a 30% cultivation speed boost when using a compatible cultivation manual, which although above average, is still acceptable. But then to get another 50% on top of that?!
Although the prerequisites of said increase are multiple valuable treasures way beyond the reach of Long Ren's level, It is still a godlike technique to cultivate the younger seeds of the clan!
Xing Lao then started imagining a young batch of his Star clan cultivating 50% faster than the average cultivator! Imagine how strong his clan could be then! They would dish out prodigies like its cabbages!
But, being the old man that Xing Lao is, he calmed down quickly. While it's true this technique has the potential to lead his clan to much greater heights, the price to pay is, how to say, very expensive and rare.
Each treasure Xing Lao gave to Long Ren is very hard to acquire by the masses.
All of them are either from his 100+ years of endeavors or bought from the clan at a heavy price, meaning, there are no more of these treasures in the close vicinity.
The reason for that is that spatial treasures are hard to come by. There are only so many space attribute cultivators, and even fewer of them are capable to produce high-level spatial treasures.
So, Xing Lao quickly discarded the thought of letting others in the clan know about this cultivation manual, as 1, they can't do anything about this information anyway since the amount of space affinity cultivators in the clan is already minimal,
2, it would only attract attention towards him, though he could protect himself from danger, the same could not be said about his disciple.
Although Xing Lao is loyal to the clan, he decided to be selfish for once because not only does he want his disciple to grow in the best condition, but he also wanted to see whether this manual can help Long Ren break through the barrier that he has been fighting for the last decade.
Who knows, maybe Xing Lao could find enlightenment while teaching Long Ren, or after seeing Long Ren breakthrough that same barrier. Only time will tell.
Long Ren then kept cultivating for the next hour while Xing Lao stands near him, watching his every move and comparing it with the manual's instructions.
After seeing everything is alright and well, Xing Lao told Long Ren to stop.
"I think that's enough testing for today. These artifacts are very valuable and are hard to replace, so I will give you this." Xing Lao then pulled out a box orned with several star ornaments on each of its sides, looking very expensive.
"This is a storage box, it works the same way as your ring, but has more defensive capabilities and space. This box can only be opened by me and you after you drop your blood."
Long Ren nodded, bit his finger hard, and dripped his blood on the box. Xing Lao then continued.
"All those items will be stored and kept in your house, never to leave the room as it will only attract unnecessary attention towards yourself. As your cultivation increases, I will let you take out and use these items gradually. You won't be able to use these items with your current rank anyway."
Long Ren nodded in response again and cleaned up his room. He felt like a child again, putting his toys inside his toybox after his mother told him to clean up.
After all that is done, Xing Lao and Long Ren sat back down on the table set once more and started their academy lessons such as basics of cultivation, various tips, and tricks cultivators had found, knowledge, and culture of the continent, etc.
Suddenly, while both of them were engrossed in their teaching session, Long Ren knocked the [Space Clickbait manual] down to the ground, revealing its last page. (A/N: definitely not the work of plot-kun *whistles*…)
Seeing what was written on the last page, Long Ren was shocked to his core.
[Space Cultivation Manual, copyright Violet Nevermoore]
Although the word copyright is very weird to see here, what shook Long Ren is not that, no, no.
What shook Long Ren very much is that these last few words… are written in English!
Long Ren had realized this before when he arrived here, but, this world has its own language system in place, which is very different and something he had never heard before on Earth
Thankfully, his mind could speak and write with this world's language fluently. But, that is not the main point now!
Irrefutable evidence of an earthling has surfaced…
(A/N: I kinda forgot to say the world doesn't use any language that he had heard of from earth, so there u go, ehe!)
