Lust POV
We all stared at her retreating figure. She runs fast. My lips pulled up at the thought of her embarrassed look. She is cute.
"Easy there bro. Remember you gave her up. It would be weird if your eyes linger" Austin said patting my shoulder.
He is right. For a moment there when I saw how embarrassed she was, I just couldn't help but tease her. I forgot everything I should and shouldn't be doing any more.
A sigh escaped my mouth as I composed myself.
I turned towards Austin who looks like a mess. I know he wasn't one to care if anyone was watching or saw him engaging in his usual sexual activities but this was too far.
Though I teased Chris about it, I don't find it funny at all.
"This shouldn't repeat itself Austin. That was too far. If Rage had found out, you would have been in serious trouble" I glared at him.
He waved me off not concerned.
"Relax. He didn't" He grinned.
"I will tell someone to fetch some holy water. That room will definitely need serious cleansing" Gabriel said squeezing his face in disgust.
I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my mouth. Austin grin widened like he was proud of himself.
"They better make it thorough then. Oh and don't forget to tell them to check behind the shelves and the desk. I 'spilled' a number there" He winked at him, and patted his shoulder before walking away whistling.
Gabriel face was squeezed up like he would throw up at any moment.
"Now I need to bath again" He grumbled and disappeared.
I shock my head in disbelief. Their encounter always leaves me doubting their age.
"We need to talk" Leonard announced. He has been quiet all these while not adding a single word even when Chris was here.
His face looks serious troubling me.
"Let's go to my office then"
In other to make the trip shorter, we both teleported into my office.
I walked around my desk and sat down on my seat. Leo stood in front of me with a serious expression on.
Even when I saw him walking in the hallway, he had the same look on his face like he was deep in thought. But it wasn't an unusual sight so I brushed it off.
"Is something wrong Leo?" I asked staring at him.
He crossed his hand behind his back, his eyes thinned.
"Depends on what you deem as wrong" He replied.
"I don't understand." I stated.
"Today I believe I saw a Demon whisperer" he replied.
A demon whisperer?? That can't be right. My eyes narrowed.
"That---"
"Impossible I know. I would have believed it to be my imagination if I hadn't killed it myself and watched it turn to smoke." He said pacing around the office.
If it was someone else saying this, I wouldn't have easily believed. But it's Leo and he is hardly ever wrong.
"Who would have the power to create a Demon whisperer?" I asked confused. This only means trouble.
The only one capable of having the dark ability to create a Demon whisperer is only Demora and Demora is not here. So who could it be?
"Do you think Demora is back?" I asked puzzled.
He pulled the seat in front of the desk and sat down staring at me.
"I believe the Demon whisperer was following the princess or rather should I say watching her." He said.
My eyes widened as I sat up.
Demon whisperers are only known for two things. They listen and whisper back to their master. Demora use them to track anyone down or follow someone.
Who would place a Demon whisperer on Christiana and why?
"Do you have anyone in mind who would have a reason to watch Christiana?" I asked a frown on my face. The fact that she could be under someone's radar didn't sit right with me.
If it's a demon whisperer then I'm sure it wasn't for the right reasons.
"You know as well as I do that almost everyone in this Palace doesn't like and are suspicious of her" He said.
He was right.
Their is no way we can find out who it was or who would be able to wield such a power other than Demora.
Mom is locked away in his torture chamber so it couldn't be her and Rage was just appointed king, he doesn't have the ability to wield such power yet and plus he has no reason to watch Christiana.
"Whoever it was, has the power to create Whisperers and has something belonging to Chris if it can get it to watch her or follow her" I stated.
I'm getting worried. Somehow I feel like something dangerous is coming but what?
"For now, just watch her. I might be overreacting" Leo stated standing up from his seat.
He got me all worked up and now is playing it down to be an overreaction?
"Even if I want to watch her, I have no right to do that now." I sighed feeling dejected. I feel so helpless.
"Then appoint someone to follow her" He stated less concerned.
Chris wouldn't be comfortable around a stranger following her up and down.
Unless....
I stared at him pleading. His eyes narrowed like he got my message.
His lips thinned. His displeasure was written all over his face.
"No!" he bluntly refused before I could even ask.
I sighed in defeat.
"Please you're the only one I trust enough to do it for me. You just have to get close to her and watch her.
I would have told Austin but I don't trust him around her and Gabriel is not as thoughtful as you.
He has already befriended her so it will just be fun for him. I don't want anyone else to know about this. I would like it to stay between us. So please Leo. Do it for me" I pleaded.
I knew he was angry. He fruwed his brows and sighed in defeat.
I smiled in victory.
"Thank you friend"
He didn't say anything, just turned around and walked away.
My head kept throbbing as his words kept repeating in my head.
Who would have a motive to watch Chris?
The next minute I heard a knock on the door pulling me from my thoughts.
I watched as the door opened and I suddenly felt like disappearing when I saw who it was.
"Good day Milord" Delilah curtsied staring at me with thrill.
What does she want?
She walked towards me, not forgetting to sway her hips and stood beside me. She held my shoulder rubbing it with her pointy fingers.
An annoyed sigh escaped my mouth.
"I heard that your relationship with that girl is over. Does that mean you are mine again?" She asked with her sluttery voice.
The term she used to describe Chris pissed me off. I shrugged her hand off.
Although I know that I am supposed to be helping my brother. I just can't see myself in her arms again. This will be tougher than I expected.
She looked shocked as her eyes stared at the place her hands was before.
I played it down with smile.
"Yes and No Delilah" I replied her.
She forced herself to smile and held my arm resting her head on it.
Right now I feel like snapping her neck.
"Why? Don't you want me anymore?" She asked faking a sad voice that didn't suite her at all.
I held her arm and pulled her off me standing up as well. I could see a hint of annoyance in her eyes as she tired to mask it with a smile.
"I have work to do Delilah. Please leave." I said staring at the door as a hint.
She took the hint and forced a smile walking out of the office.
A sigh escaped my mouth as she left. I am not ready for her, not today.
