"Nell please let me sleep a bit for today..." Raiku pleaded as he turned to lay down and sleep.

Nell still shook him,

"I can't, even if I wanted to" Nell shook her head,

"Your parent's told me to wake you early to breakfast"

"Do you know why?" Raiku still sleepy got up,

"No" As she went to her room to get some things and prepare for classes today.

Meanwhile, Raiku went to freshened up. After 40 minutes or so he was done.

To see Nell was already done waiting for him.

"Huh??"

"There's another bathroom in my room dummy" Nell rolled her eyes as she grabbed his hand,

"Quick let's go"

***************************

They soon arrived before the door and Raiku entered, as Nell was about to leave to have breakfast with the rest of the maids.

"Hold it "

Another maid soon walked out; she was the old maid Raiku saw last time that was stern. Old maid Yaris.

"Yes?" Nell asked confused,

"Follow." Yaris said,

Nodding Nell followed her as she led them to a corner, seeing the serious expression on her face, she was quiet.

"Listen to what I'm about to say carefully." Old maid Yaris seriously said as she turned around,

"I was asked to bring you to the training grounds after breakfast. Listen carefully young one, you must try your best to impress them so they can teach you, with your performance with weapons. These are one of the greatest weapon users in the kingdom, if you don't want to be replaced in the future train hard."

"Replaced?" Nell asked innocently,

"Yes, replaced. You must remember, even though you and Raiku are always together that's because you're his maid. In the future more people may want to vie for that or if he gets a wife without strength, you might be bullied. So is the tragic life of a maid. Imagine never seeing Raiku again, because you were replaced by someone better?"

Nell thought about being separated from Raiku as she suddenly had a sad face about to cry,

"Oh, hold it, hold it." Yaris quickly came in front of her as she said, "It's only imagining not real" and quickly wiped her tears about to burst.

Yaris sighed in her mind,

"I'm sorry, little one. I must do this as cultivation is too difficult without motivation... But this is just in case Raiku loses interest in you in the future, so you don't get bullied. But if you end up a genius that would be great too" She thought, silently she led Nell to breakfast after some minutes of comforting her.

In the dining room of the royal palace.

"Morning Mom, Dad" Raiku sitting down and starting to eat breakfast.

"You seem lively as usual" Draga laughed,

"Indeed dear" Mary joining in,

Raiku ignored them, as this was said almost every day to tease him. Waking him up at 6? And they dare call him lively?

"Ahem, anyways did nell tell you about coming to the training grounds?" Seeing he was ignored went to the main topic.

"Ah, I guess she did" Raiku recalling having heard that,

"Can you guess why?"

"To play?"

Draga blinked, as he sighed, Indeed Raiku was still just a child. It might be time for some serious stuff.

"Well yes, you get to swing weapons around! And play fight. You haven't done that have you?" Draga said,

"Ohh, A new game" Raiku said with sparkling eyes,

Seeing this Draga thought why he hadn't done earlier as he recalled a certain memory.

A young Draga found a teacher for a five-year-old Raiku to have some formal education started. Raiku at the time showed a genius level of understanding as just soaked up the knowledge like a sponge. Seeing this they were excited as they planned for Raiku to get five more teachers and read more books removing his play time.

But after just a day, Raiku went on strike. He didn't eat till the next day, afraid of his continuing they stopped the five teachers and left one. But even then, he didn't eat. As it was close to the second day, they promised him no more books. He then ate and stuffed himself. OfCourse Draga still planned on teaching him.

Sadly, Raiku had already detested books for taking him away his play time. So, he rebelled and went on strike any time they tried to teach him. Even when they made it a 30-min class. Raiku's hate for books only grew.

Maybe if he lied about books being a game would he believe? But he didn't want to risk him hating training as well....
