"...What's this? Become a system?"
Theo reread the brief introduction on his phone screen. Simply put, all he needed to do was become the system and guide Rosalina's character on her journey of defeating the Demon Lord.
The story is so simple and cliché. Almost all RPG games have a story like this. The difference is the character he will use this time is someone who transmigrates.
Based on the books he reads, usually the characters from this type of trope always have a cheat, which makes the character become overpowered.
It's just... being a system? Theo didn't understand what to do.
Theo touches the phone screen. Curious to see what the graphics and gameplay are like.
Moments later, Theo was stunned. He saw the graphics of the game on the screen which were very realistic. It even made Theo think that the picture was taken directly from the camera in real life.
Theo was very impressed with the graphics of today's games. Although he likes to play games, the games he plays usually have two-dimensional graphics. Cartoonists as well as pixels. He hasn't played with three-dimensional graphics in a long time.
'Hee... so now the game is like this. No wonder gaming computers are so expensive.'
On the screen, Theo could see a female character who was busy swinging her sword at night.
The woman has long blonde hair that is tied back. Has a height of about 165 cm, with long legs..
The woman wore simple clothes. Like the clothes of a commoner in a fantasy story.
Swinging her sword in vertical motion continuously.
[Huff... huff... huff...]
The woman's breath could be heard clearly from the speakerphone. Theo looked at the screen, touched it and then tried to move the game character. But no, he couldn't move the female characters on the screen.
'Hmm, is there a tutorial I should play first?'
Theo waited for about five minutes, but he did not receive any instructions. All Theo could do was watch the female character on his screen swinging a sword.
"..."
Theo furrowed his brows. Don't know what to do. He then tried to touch the name tab on top of the phone screen. Which directly sent him to the detailed data of the female character.

"…What a rubbish."
Theo is not a hardcore gamer. But, at least he understood that the status of Rosalina's character on the screen wasn't very good.
The character only has three skills. And even then with one skill having level 0. The other two skills are just basic swords and running.
Theo felt like slapping his forehead.
From the brief introduction earlier. He had clearly read that Rosalina's character had survived ten years.
Ten years and only reached Level 15. With two skills that look basic and underdeveloped.
Theo shook his head, then turned his attention to something else on the screen. In addition to status, there are also three types of coins on the screen.
Theo believes this shows the amount of money she has. From the far left is a silver coin with a total of 536, next a gold coin with a total of 13, and a red coin with a total of zero.
He didn't know whether this amount of money was a lot or not. So he turned his attention to something else.
At the bottom of the screen, there are two icons with the words, Message and Mission.
"Hmm…"
Theo touched the Message icon which then brought out a message box. He typed the word 'test' in the box, then sent it.
Ding!
The message he typed instantly appeared in front of Rosalina's character. Making the woman so surprised.
[! What's this?! Test? What's being tested?]
Theo could see the girl on the screen looking confused and excited by the message he had just sent.
That way Theo knows the function of Messages is to send messages directly to characters in the game.
"So this is how I lead her to defeat the Demon Lord."
Muttered Theo who immediately realized that he himself knew nothing about the Demon Lord In the game. So what clues can he give? He does not know.
Theo shook his head slowly. He didn't care much for it. Theo himself wasn't even sure if he would play the game again the next day.
In the end, he no longer cared about the messaging feature, and left Rosalina on the screen busy by herself, calling out to the system that sent the message.
Theo's focus now moves to the next feature, Mission.
In this feature, Theo can provide three missions simultaneously. Later Rosalina will choose one of the three missions to do.
Theo must give three missions at once, not one by one. This is stated by the game so that Rosalina's character can have freedom of choice. So Theo as a system does not impose a certain path on Rosalina.
Theo taps the Mission icon, then three blank windows appear that he must fill in.
"Hmm..."
Theo thought for a moment about the three mission options he wanted to give. Because this is a fantasy land that is usually read and seen in books or movies.
So the first mission Theo gave was a mission to kill five goblins.
After he finished writing down his first mission, a gift and penalty box suddenly appeared. As for the punishment for failing, Theo chose not to give any punishment at all. Because unlike rewards, punishment is optional. Instead of worrying about the punishment to be given, Theo chose nothing at all.
As for the reward. Theo must have filled it out.
When he touches the reward box. He was asked to scan an object that would serve as a mission reward.
"...What's this again?"
Scan? Theo was a bit confused, because the app asked him to scan real objects as a reward.
"This is weird..."
Theo muttered, looking around, looking for objects that he felt could be both a gift and useful for the character's life in the fantasy world.
But after a long search, Theo understood that there was nothing useful in his house. At least, what Theo thought was useful was an object that could be used as a weapon.
But...
He only had a kitchen knife that could possibly be used as a weapon. It's just that, being used against monsters... feels unethical.
"..."
Theo took a long look at the kitchen knife in his hand. Feeling that he didn't want to bother anymore, he just scanned the knife directly with the camera.
Scanned successfully, the knife image immediately appears in the first mission column as a reward.
Theo looked at the mission again. Hunting down five goblins just for a kitchen knife. If he were Rosalina, he wouldn't want to take the mission. Instead he would curse the system that gave trash missions.
"Sigh…"
Theo took a deep breath. He must fill in the other two mission windows in order to complete the mission selection. But his enthusiasm and interest had faded.
So, Theo just gave a casual mission.
The second mission, Theo fills by asking Rosalina to collect five types of herbs, which will later be rewarded with an empty water glass.
For the third mission, Theo wrote that Rosalina had to do fifty push-ups. The reward for the mission is a can of energy drink.
After all three missions are done. Theo presses the confirmation button then sends it to Rosalina's in-game character.
On the screen, Theo could see the female character gasping in surprise. Read carefully the three missions that she had to choose, then cursed the system that gave her trash missions.
Theo just chuckled at the complaint. Closed the game application and put the phone on the table.
Realizing that the mysterious application is just a simple simulation game. Theo immediately put that mysterious game to the side of his mind.
