"Oh! Hotteok! I love the hotteok of here!" Lina shouted from the car. Dae Ju sat down and tried to look where it was.
"Where?" Dae Ju asked. He remembered how Tae Ri acted like a baby when he wanted to eat hotteok. He was acted like he never eats them before. He was very cute. When Dae Ju remembered about him,
Lina pointed at a small shop like cart and said "There!"
Dae Ju noticed the shop and told the driver to stop the car. The car stopped in front of the shop. They got down from the car and came to the cook who was baking. There were no customers around him so he was not busy at all.
"Oh, Lina-sshi! It's been a long!" The young man said.
"Yes, I was kinda busy so I can't come here." Lina smiled.
"You know him? He knows you?" Dae Ju surprised and looked at them.
"Yes, she was my regular customer. But nowadays, she doesn't come anymore. I was worried if you were alright or not." the man smiled at Lina while saying this. Dae Ju looked at the man. Maybe he was in his late 20s. But seeing him, nobody can assume it. He was too handsome and maybe he was suffering from anti-aging. His ears always stay red and his cheeks also. Is that always stay like this? Or he is feeling shy because of her? His big eyes were very attractive and he looked sexy when he flipped his hotteok. He was hotter than those things. He has a sharp nose which perfectly set on his face.
"Give us two of them." Dae Ju showed the items which he wants and said coldly.
"Okay," the man said very gently. Even his behavior was attractive! Dae Ju was feeling jealous because Lina was also smiling at him.
"No! Give us four! I will save them and eat later. It's not possible to come everyday!" Lina smiled sweetly. Though Dae Ju likes her this smile, he doesn't like it now.
"Okay, okay, give four of them." Dae Ju make a face though nobody saw him.
"Here you go!" the guy packed four of them and said politely.
"Thank you for coming!" he said to both of them when they were about to leave. Lina was going to sit inside the car but right then they saw someone familiar. An old man was coming to them. Lina knows him but she couldn't recognize him well as she didn't saw him for a long time. The guy was calling Dae Ju by waving his hand slowly.
"Wait for me. I will go and take a look what he at wants from me." Dae Ju told Lina to wait inside the car so Lina went inside and waited for him. Dae Ju went to the guy and recognized who it was.
"Ajusshi! You are here?" Dae Ju surprised.
"You have to meet with me in evening. I have something to tell you." the guy said gently.
"Can't you tell me now?" Dae Ju asked curiously.
"No, looks like you have someone with you. So, I don't want to interrupt in your date." the guy replied.
"No! We are not in a date!" Dae Ju turned red by hearing that.
"I have to go now. Please come toy place at evening." saying this the guy start walking. Dae Ju went back to his car.
"Who was he?" Lina asked.
"Oh! He is someone whom I know." Dae Ju replied.
"Ah! What he said to you?" Lina was curious.
"Nothing special!" Dae Ju smiled.
"Ah! Take one!" Lina showed the packet of hotteok and said. Dae Ju took one of them and start eating though his concentration was not in that. He was worried why he wanted to meet him and what he was gonna tell him. But one thing stuck in his ears and he thought he should make the words true.
"Do you want to go for a movie?" Dae Ju asked.
"Suddenly?" Lina surprised and asked.
"Hmm. I think it's been a long since we didn't go out together." Dae Ju replied though they never go out together and by hearing the guy, Dae Ju felt like he should spend some time with her outside.
"Yes, Justice League just has been released and I really want to watch the movie."
"What? Hasn't it released three years ago?" Lina surprised.
"No! It's not that one! It's a totally different one! It would be so cool. It's Snider's cut!" Dae Ju was acting like an original fanboy.
"I don't know what you are saying but let's go as you wanted to watch it that badly!" Lina replied being confused,
"Let's go!" Dae Ju was excited not because of the movie but because Lina doesn't know but she is going on a date with him right now. The car kept running in the middle of the busy street and soon they reached a cinema hall.
After they came out from the hall, Dae Ju wanted to hang out more. So, they went to amusement park which was near. Both of them enjoyed a lot. It's been a long since Lina didn't come outside for enjoyment. That's why she was very happy today.
When they reached home, Dae Ju has some shopping bags in his hand as they went for some shopping too.
"I will make cookies with them and send them to San. Will it be alright?" Lina took out some staff to keep them in their places and said.
"Oh! That's a great idea! We will go to meet him tomorrow, okay?" Dae Ju liked the idea and he came to Lina to help her.
"Okay, then I should start baking as soon as possible." Lina smiled and turned around. Dae Ju took out the packet of butter and hold it in front of her as if he was helping her a lot.
"Thank you!" by taking the packet Lina smiled sweetly and went to the fridge. This time, he liked her smile and felt embarrassed though there was no reason to get shy.
Suddenly he remembered that he has to go.
"Oh! I have to go! I think you can manage all of these, right?" Dae Ju looked at the time and said.
"Of course!" Lina smiled because he was saying as if she can't manage all the stuff which they just brought.
"When will you return?" Lina asked.
"I will come back soon." saying this he left from there and Lina stayed inside the home alone. That time, the young lady who was the house owner came to meet Lina. Dae Ju noticed her but he didn't stop. He kept going in his own ways he hates the lady too much. He doesn't like the way she looked at him that's why he always tried to avoid her.
"Oh! Rumi-sshi! Where are you going! By leaving your wife all alone?" she tried to stop him but he acted like he didn't hear her so he didn't reply to her.
"Ah! He went away! How shy natured he is! I like it!" the lady said and came to Lina.
"Hello!" Lina said gently.
"Seems like you went shopping! You buy a lot of things!" she replied.
"Oh! Yes, Please, sit. I will go and make some tea for you." Lina proposed but the lady didn't come here to sit. She was here for telling her something important.
"Ah! No, I can't sit. I came here because I have something to tell you." she was very gentle with her though Lina suspiciously looked at her.
"Ah! You can tell me freely!" Lina smiled and tried to remember if they didn't pay the rent or not. But as long she can remember, they paid the rent and they have no arrears to pay to her.
"Um... How can I say....I know you were very good renters but, you have to leave the place, I mean, this house....You can't stay here.....I mean, I am sorry but you have to empty this place." she smiled weirdly after saying these words hesitatingly.
"Ah! Is that all? Okay, we will. We were finding for a new, big and nice place anyways." Lina also smiled but the householder didn't like her smile. She felt like Lina just insulted her and her house.
"Ah, really? Then, it will be alright!" she smiled though she was feeling very angry.
Dae Ju went to that house. He was trying to prepare mentally. He was feeling something wrong. He doesn't know what but something was not feeling right to him. Although he went inside and take sit seat he was feeling nervous. The old but good looking guy wasn't there. This house wasn't very far from his current house. He can come here by walking for fifteen or twenty minutes.
"Where is he?" Dae Ju asked himself as there was nobody else inside the room. After waiting for several minutes, when he nearly lied down, the guy came inside.
"Oh! You are here! Yes, you should've. I told you to come, right?" he said gently and sat down to his regular seat.
"Yes, you said so." Dae Ju replied.
"Listen, my boy. I can't tell the future but I can assume some of them. All of my guess doesn't come true but there is a high chance that they will come true." the guy said and put his round cap on his head.
"I didn't suspect you as your every word was true before." Dae Ju smiled.
"The spirit which used to live in this body, couldn't get in it for some months. didn't it?" he asked. His voice changed while he was talking. It became deep but not beautiful.
"Yes," Dae Ju replied.
"Now that it can't damage this body, it wanted to harm your original body. But it can't because of the yarn in your body," he said.
"But, I didn't put that in my real body! Aish! I forgot! How can I? I was too busy that I forgot and I didn't even search for the girl!" Dae Ju became unstable.
"Wait! It went to its own place. Maybe you don't know but it tied on your body perfectly." the guy said and calmed him down.
"What? Really? But who put it there?" Dae Ju surprised.
"It was Seo Jin." He replied very calmly.
"Oh, really? Did she know about me? Since when?" Dae Ju got shocked by hearing that.
"Since you met her." the guy smiled.
"What? How?" Dae Ju can't hold his curiosity.
"Calm down! Because she knows you well." he smiled again.
"Can't believe! Then why she was acting like she doesn't know anything about me! Seriously! It's just.....Ah! She has been awarded for acting, right?" Dae Ju can't believe his ears but he believes this man so he believes everything he said to him.
"However, I didn't call you to discuss about it. This is a very serious matter and you must listen to me carefully now." he became more serious than before and came a little closer to Dae Ju.
"What?" Dae Ju also prepared himself and concentrate on listening.
"You can't stay longer in this body. You have to go back soon. Or else, your original body will die and you can never go back. If you don't go back in your body within the next fullmoon, that spirit will return to this body again after the moon disappeared. But if you can kill this body, it can never come back. And it's the only way to go back in your real body. You have nearly one month because it's black night. And if you can't kill the body by yourself, you will forget everything that you did in this life. Your last memory will be the night of your accident. After what you did, what you hear, what you saw, you can't remember." the guy said and sighed. Dae Ju was listening very carefully but he can't process the sentences so he kept sitting silently. When he can understand what he just said, he looked at him disappointedly.
"You mean, I have to kill myself! I mean, this body? How can I? I can't even kill a mosquito! How can I? And what will I do if I can't remember anything? What will happen to her? I can forget everything but I don't want to forget her!" Dae Ju was being emotional while saying these.
"It's your choice kid! If you don't go, your real body can't survive long. You must choose one." he said in a serious voice.
