[The next morning]
Lina was not at home. Where did she go in this very morning? It's not a working day! She never go anywhere without telling them. Dae Ju went outside to find her. This time he didn't go to the police. He was just walking here and there. He wasn't focused on finding her. Maybe he knows well where she could go. Suddenly his phone starts ringing. He took out the phone and got surprised because it was the chairman.
"Hello!" Dae Ju said but no reply was coming from another side.
"Hello!" He tried to contact me again. This time a noise was coming from the other side.
"Ah! This is weird!" saying this he cut the line. After a long time, he came outside for traveling alone. He was going here and there. He forgot why gets out from the home. He left his all tension and feel the freedom. He went to a park, then he went to an amusement park, restaurant. Seems like he was dating with himself. When it became evening, he went to the police station. But he was not in a rush.
"Hello! How's going everything?" he came to Mr. Park and seeing him working, he said.
"Don't you take a vacation after a huge success?" Dae Ju asked smilingly.
"Why? What do you want?" Mr. Park asked and looked at him.
"Nothing! But, can I meet with your criminals? For just once?" he asked smilingly.
"Okay, at least you won't be here to irritate me!" saying this he showed a locker in which he kept Johnnie and his men.
"Hello!" Dae Ju bowed to him. Johnnie was sitting on the floor. As he has a lot of men in his team, they couldn't put them in one locker. Since Dae Ju has no work with others, he directly went to Johnnie. Seeing him, Johnnie stood up. He came to Dae Ju as if he was a tiger who was hungry and he found his prey and came to it very slowly without making any sounds.
"So, you came!" he looked at Dae Ju. His eyes were telling that he was waiting for him.
"It wasn't you, right?" Dae Ju asked. Then he looked at Mr. Park if he was watching over them or not. Seems like he was very busy with his work.
"Right you are!" he said smilingly. As always, his smile was looking creepy.
"Why you did that? Why you keep helping the chairman? You know all of this, right? Then why you save him?" Dae Ju was being aggressive.
"Calm down! I didn't get caught willingly. It was you who help them to catch me!" he smiled again.
"You did it willingly! I know you very well! You have another plan, right? What is it?" he was a little loud this time.
"Did you come here for the truth?" he asked and laughed.
"What is it? Since when you kept saying I have to know the truth! But what is it about?" Dae Ju was whispering now though he was getting angry.
"I will tell you. But, why so fast? Let him enjoy it for some time! I will finish him up how he planned me to finish me!" saying this he started to laugh loudly.
"What are you talking about? Who wanted to finish you? Who has the braveness and who has the talent to finish you?" though Dae Ju didn't mean it, Johnnie was quite happy by hearing him. He also feels proud of himself.
"You have to do what I say. Or else you will be in danger too." Suddenly Johnnie said.
"What? Suddenly why you wanted to become a saint?" Dae Ju asked to mock him.
"You don't know me well. What you can see is not true and what you can't see can be true. Maybe you can feel it very well." he smiled weirdly again. Dae Ju was very surprised.
"How can he say that? Did Johnnie know who he is? No! It can't be!" Dae Ju thought in his mind.
"Can you tell me one thing? Please, be honest when answering." Dae Ju nearly begged because it's related to himself.
"I didn't say I will answer you!" he smiled again.
"Ei! Don't be so harsh! Please answer me!" Dae Ju begged again.
"What?" he was being cold again.
"Why you wanted to kill Dae Ju? Why did you order me to do that?" he asked. Suddenly he remembered about it and he asked.
"I didn't promise I will answer you! You should take care of yourself and your wife. And yes, your dearest brother too!" Johnnie said and turned back. He moved far from him and sit down again on the floor.
"Hey! Answer me!" he shouted.
"You should listen to him. It's for your sake." one of his men said and told him to leave from there.
"What is going on there?" Mr. Park came by hearing the noise.
"You should go now!" he said to Dae Ju.
"Yes," Dae Ju said and start walking though he was looking at Johnnie hoping that he will reply to him but he didn't even turn his face to him. He was sitting like a stone that wasn't removable.
"Then, I have to choose my own way." Saying this to himself he left from there.
When he was walking slowly on the street, his phone starts ringing again. This time he pick up the call. He didn't see who was on the phone this time.
"Hello!" he said.
"Hello!" a man said from another side. But his voice was familiar to Dae Ju.
"Mr. Director! It was unexpected!" Dae Ju said.
"Yes, Unexpected as some unexpected things happened today," he said from another side.
"What happened?" Dae Ju was surprised.
"Is everything alright? What about our new project?" Dae Ju acted he was very worried about his company.
"No! Why do you always talk about company? Can't it be involved with your personal life?" the chairman asked.
"Why? What happened that serious? I couldn't get a clue. Can you say that please?" Dae Ju said curiously.
"Think about last night. What happened between you and Lina." he wanted to give him a clue so that Dae Ju can tell it by himself.
"Last night?" Dae Ju forgot what happened last night. Then he remembered and said.
"Ah! About that? How did you know about it?" he asked.
"Because what you are finding is in front of me. Hope you understand and you will come soon to take your belonging." saying this smilingly he hung up the call.
"What? What was he trying to say?" Dae Ju said when he was hung up the call. Then he understood what he was going to say. He went to the house about which he notified a while ago. He knocked at the door. After a few moments, someone came and opened the door.
"Ah! Hello!" Dae Ju said making a weird face and smiled.
"I was expecting you from the morning!" the chairman said and opened the door fully.
"Come inside!" he said and let him go inside.
"Thank you for calling me. I understand what you said earlier!" Dae Ju was very gentle while talking.
"It was my duty but you should have understood that earlier!" saying this he laughed.
"Sorry! But I never expected that." Dae Ju also smiled. They were walking inside the home. It was a long oath since the house was quite big. It was Dae Ju's first time visiting the chairman's home. Seems like he stays alone in the house. There were his photos, his achievement, and prizes were decorated everywhere.
"I thought so. That's why I called you. Come to this way." saying this he pointed at a room and went inside it.
Dae Ju followed him and went inside the room. He was surprised by seeing one thing though he shouldn't surprise.
"Lina! You are here! Ah! I was searching for you everywhere! Why you came here?" Dae Ju was overreacting. Go from here! I don't want to see your face again!" saying this she looked at him angrily.
"Should I leave you two alone? Or should I sit down to enjoy a show? I can't understand!" saying this the chairman smiled. Both of them looked at him and acted normal.
"Go to her!" he pointed at Lina and said to Dae Ju.
"Ah! Thank you Mr. Director!" Dae Ju bowed to him and said gently.
"Then, you should talk with each other! I will go and get something fresh for you." saying this he left from there and closed the door. Dae Ju came to Lina and sit beside her.
"Did you find anything?" he asked curiously.
"I couldn't. I need more time. He was home for all day beside me and I have to keep acting! I don't know where to start and what to find! Do you think I am professional?" Lina said while whispering.
"Ah! But we can't stay here for long! Did you see how he looked at us? I think he was suspecting us!" Dae Ju also said with a very low voice.
"I don't think so! Why you think he is that bad?" Lina said.
"You have no idea how bad he is, honey!" said Dae Ju and looked around inside the room.
"Stop behaving like this! I can't act anymore!" Lina said and stood up.
Last night, Dae Ju planned everything out. He sent Lina here this morning. They acted like they quarreled a lot and Lina left her home and finding no other way she came to this house. The chairman called Dae Ju in the morning when Lina reached here. But Lina didn't let him talk because she kept her acting. She told him that she doesn't want to go home as she was very angry with him. But he seems happy by seeing her. He welcomed her and stayed with her for all day. He went to shopping for her at noon. And that time Lina did her work as there was nobody else inside the home. She was searching for proof in every corner of the house but she found nothing there. She didn't know where she should search for the evidence. But when he came home within an hour, she has to keep her acting. She believes in people easily so she couldn't believe the chairman was a bad person when she first heard it from Dae Ju.
She tried to read his face since when she came here but she couldn't. She just saw a nice old man. Nothing more than that.
Suddenly he came to the room with a food tray.
"Oh! Why do you bring these? We will leave soon!" Dae Ju asked being polite.
"Aigoo! You are not my worker now! You are my daughter's husband! If I don't take care of you who will? I arranged all of these myself. So, don't refuse this or else I will get hurt!" he said and smiled.
"Ah! Why you are so kind!" Dae Ju said smilingly and looked at Lina. Lina was still acting. She was sitting by facing another way.
"Come here! Serve yourself!" saying this he started to serve the dishes in front of them. Most of them were sweet dishes. "You know, I am fond of sweet so I brought these." he smiled again.
"Why he didn't get diabetes yet?" Dae Ju asked himself in his mind.
"Don't be late! Come!" he called them again.
"Come!" Dae Ju said to Lina.
"Go and eat a lot!" Lina said rudely.
"Seems like things haven't get better yet! This happens! Don't worry! Everything will be fine!" he said and went away from the room.
"What should we do now?" Lina asked with a very low voice.
"I don't know. But it will be safe if we leave from here," said Dae Ju.
"There was a computer in his room. I think we can find something there. But the computer is locked with a password so I couldn't open it." Lina said while whispering.
