"We did something wrong?" Lina asked.
Why you are acting like you are my parents? I don't know what parents do for their kids. Because I didn't have any. I have grown up in an orphanage where I have learned to no work, no food rules. I don't know how many days I have to starve! How many nights I had to spend sleepless and wished for death. I want to be loved by I didn't get it from anywhere. I was alone. Very alone. Suddenly, you guys came into my life. I feel like angels appeared in my life. Why you are taking care of me this much? What profit you will gain by it?" Choi San was very emotional. His eyes were full of tears.
"Hey! Aren't you a fool! Will you judge every relationship with money or profit? There is so much bonding in this world without blood and of course money. There can be bonding with the soul. And I think it's most valuable in this world. If you don't have bonding with the soul, blood relationships also can't be real. So, don't say things like this again. Okay? You just hurt me." Lina said and put another spoonful of food in his mouth.
"Sorry. I didn't want to hurt you. I just say what I thought." suddenly he acted like all grown up.
"Yeah, yeah! I understand! Now, finish it first." Lina said and continued feeding him.
After spending much time with him in the hospital, Lina and Dae Ju came out because he needs to sleep now. They make him lie down and kept apart from his phone though they know he will take it after they come out. Lina started walking but Dae Ju was thinking something very deeply.
"Lina-ah!" he shouted but not loudly as it was a hospital.
"What?" Lina stopped and came back.
"Did you mean that?" he asked.
"What?" Lina was confused so she asked to confirm.
"That you said to Choi San a while ago?" he asked.
"What? That many boys used to disturb me in Bangladesh?" she asked.
"No! Who will not follow you! I know that very well! Before that." he asked.
"What?" Lina started thinking hard but she couldn't get it.
"When you were feeding him. He was crying and then you said..." Dae Ju was hesitating to say but he was curious to know.
"Ah! That? About relationship?" Lina got it now and asked.
"Yes, You said the most important relationship is bonding with the soul. Did you meant it?" he asked. They were a little far from Choi San's room.
"Of course! I just said my opinion. I don't know how you feel about it. If you felt bad, then I am sorry." she said.
"No! Why I would feel bad? I am happy that you said it. I was just curious if you really said it from your heart or just to keep him satisfied." Dae Ju acted weird and said.
"Oh! But I mean it." saying this she started walking again. Dae Ju also followed her and start walking.
"Ah, right! I forgot my bag! Wait here! I will go and get it." saying this Lina went from there. She went inside Choi San's room to take her bag. She saw the boy was sleeping peacefully. Seeing it, she finds her inner peace and smiled. She took her bag but she noticed that his phone wasn't there. He must take it when they left and now he is acted like he was sleeping.
"Peek-a-boo!" Lina holds the blanket and removes it from his body. And she found the phone with him. But he really falls asleep while using his phone. She took the phone and saw that he was watching Lina and Dae Ju's video. She doesn't know when he recorded them but he seems very happy in those vlogs. She smiled by seeing them. It's not that long since he came but he enlightened their house like a newborn baby. There are so many works, so many thoughts related to him now. Lina took the phone back to its place and covered him with the blanket properly. Then she left the room.
"Did you get it?" Dae Ju asked about her bag.
"Yes, I got it." saying this she showed her bag.
"Is he sleeping?" he asked again.
"Yes," Lina smiled. Both of them were walking in the hallway.
"Already?" Dae Ju asked surprisingly.
"Yes, already." Lina smiled again.
"Don't you think we need more big houses now? I mean, San-ah needs a private room. And we don't have any to give him one room." Dae Ju said while thinking.
"I was thinking so." Lina seems worried. They came outside from the hospital while talking. They took a taxi to go home.
"He wanted to eat beef before you came and I promised that I will treat him. But after you came, he insisted to eat ramyeon." Dae Ju laughed. Suddenly he felt like he was acting like a dad. He felt embarrassed and turned red.
"Really? He is so cute." she smiled.
[The next morning]
"San-ah! The doctor said that you can go home now. Pack everything. You should go home." Lina and Dae Ju came to pick him up.
"Really? Can I go home?" he seems excited.
"Yes dear, you can." Lina smiled and said gently.
"Thank you doctor!" he said to the doctor. The doctor was standing near him. He came to visit him and seeing him fine, he told that he can go home.
"But, you should stay careful and take a lot of rest, okay? You shouldn't move much and after a week, you have to come to me again, got it?" the doctor said. He was also babying him like Lina and Dae Ju was.
"I understand!" he replied and start packing his things.
"How excited he is!" Lina said to Dae Ju. The three of them came home within an hour. Both of them took a leave from their work for him.
[In the evening]
Dae Ju was doing some paperwork while drinking coffee. San was upstairs. He was using the room for now because he was sick. Suddenly, he came down while running and hugged Dae Ju from behind. Dae Ju got startled and drop all the coffee on his papers.
"Ah! You startled me!" he shouted. Why you did that? Ah! My all works have been ruined! Why? Look at this mess! Who will clean them now? I have to print these papers again!" he shouted at him being angry and moved from his place. San falls to the ground and it happened so suddenly that he couldn't understand anything. He was sitting on the floor and getting scolded, he became disappointed.
"What happened? Why you are shouting like this again?" Lina came from the kitchen quickly. She saw Choi San sitting on the floor and also saw Dae Ju's ruined documents.
"Look what he did? I was working for so long! Ah!" he was still angry.
"But you shouldn't yell at him like this! Look how disappointed he is!" she came to San and help him to stand up.
"He must have a reason. Isn't it?" Lina was saying as if he was the most adorable person. But San was standing quietly.
"I am sorry. I didn't know it would happen!" saying this with a very sad face he started leaving to the upstairs.
"Don't yell at him again. You can do these works again! Why are you acting as someone died? Ah! This is insane!" Lina said loudly and start cleaning the floor and the table.
"I got angry on him and still, he ruined everything!" Dae Ju can't stay angry anymore after seeing her face.
"So what! He can ruin! He is a kid! And also he is sick! You should have behaved soft with him." Lina said while cleaning.
"What are you staring at? Go and say sorry to him!" Lina got angry on him.
"Ah! Okay! But, let me help you first!" saying this he came to her.
"I don't need your help! You should go to him first!" Lina said and stood up with the broken pieces of the glass. Dae Ju slowly went to upstairs. He was confused why she make a fuss with this silly matter. When he went to San's room he saw the door was closed from inside.
"San-ah! What are you doing? Open the door please!" Dae Ju shouted. But no sound was coming from inside. Hearing Dae Ju's voice, Lina came by running.
"What happened?" she asked.
"He isn't opening the door." Dae Ju said being afraid.
"San-ah! Open the door! Let me come in!" Lina said gently but hurriedly.
"San-ah!" she knocked on the door again until he opened the door.
"What happened?" after a few minutes, he opened the door and asked.
"Are you alright? Why you did that?" Lina hugged him and asked if he was fine or not.
"I am fine, Noona! Why you are looking pale?" he laughed while saying this.
"People of your ages are dangerous! That's why I was worried! Never lock the door again. If you, then I will surely break the door lock." Lina's face was getting red slowly.
"I was just pranking! Never mind!" he smiled.
"But, I am really sorry, hyung! I didn't mean to ruin your papers. I just went because I was touched by watching your clips. How you saved me that day without caring for your own life. I am sorry." looking at Dae Ju he said and make a sorry face.
"It's okay. But, nice prank! I never thought it would be a prank." Dae Ju was calm but seems like he was proud of him to make fun of that.
"What kind of joking is it?" suddenly Lina got very angry and shouted. Dae Ju never saw her like that so he also got afraid.
"I am sorry. I just wanted to see your reaction." Choi San smiled weirdly and said.
"Aish! He said he is sorry. Why are you making a fuss?" Dae Ju also tried to calm her down.
"Dinner is canceled tonight!" way this she went to the door.
"Listen, he just ma....." Dae Ju wanted to cover him up but before he finished his sentence, Lina looked at him with her angry eyes and said,
"Yours too!"
"Aish! Aren't you being too harsh?" while saying this he followed him.
"And you! Don't stay seated! Go and clean the floor!" saying this she left.
"What happened to her suddenly?" Dae Ju and Choi San looked at each other then both of them start laughing.
"What do they think? What am I? A joking kit? Huh? I will show them what I am?" she was very angry and she was pouring water into a big pan. She was blabbering with herself. That time both of the boys came to her.
"Sorry!" both of them shouted and make cute faces.
"Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! Sorry!" both of them were saying like they were cheering her.
"Stop it! Fine! You will get your dinner! Ah! But, never ever do this kind of joke! And you! Don't cheer him if he does something wrong!" she said to San and Dae Ju.
"Okay!" saying this both of them nod their head as if they were her servant. Lina felt very happy inside but she didn't show it. She felt like her all dream came true and she has no regrets about her life or life decisions.
"Um-hm!" coughing to get the attention of the guys, she said,
"Did you clean those up?"
"No! We are going to do that. Isn't it?" Choi San looked at Dae Ju and gestured him to agreed with him.
"Ah! Yes, yes! we are going! Hehehe!" Dae Ju also laughed weirdly.
"You don't need to. There will be small pieces of glass by which you can cut your hand." she was acting cold but her sweet voice didn't let her be cold. She put the pot on the stove and went to the living room. Then she starts cleaning the floor. The floor was wet with coffee. And she was wiping those with thin clothes. As she said, there were so many broken, small and sharp pieces of glasses inside the coffee. She was carefully wiping them but suddenly a piece of glass went into her finger and cut her finger.
"Uh!" she holds her finger and takes a look at it. The piece of glass went through her index finger of the right hand and it stuck on her finger. There was blood around it and she tried to get it out.
"What happened?" Both of them asked and came to her.
"Let me take a look!" Dae Ju said and came closer. He holds her hand and seeing it, he felt very bad. He tried to take it out from her finger. She was in pain so she closed her both eyes.
"Uh! It's hurt! It's hurt!" she screamed when Dae Ju tried to took the piece out.
"It will be fine. Don't worry. Look at me." he said to get her attention to him but she didn't listen to him. After a little war, he succeeds to take it out and her finger starts bleeding. Dae Ju couldn't understand how to stop the bleeding.
"San-ah! Go and get the first aid kit," he said but he put her finger in his mouth to stop the bleeding. She was surprised by his sudden move so she looked at him. He also looked at her and their eyes met with each other.
