The final flute has been heard and all the players started their engines as soon as they heard the sound. Dae Ju got 11 number car and he got the place after 10 players. All the racers start their cars. There were 21 racers in total. Though there should be 20 racers at the last minute before beginning the race, one guy came to join. He took the last car though he was confident in himself. Dae Ju recognize him and he was quite astonished by seeing him but he couldn't say anything. All of their conversation with each other and with the coach will be recorded. He started the car as if it was his regular work. He started to moving forward and leave others behind him. The Chinese racers who were there to win the race make the target on Dae Ju's car. They followed him not to win but to defeat him and crash his car. Choi San and the other boys were behind them. But they need to go inside a tunnel. Only Dae Ju and some others will go in front of everyone. And as Mr. Park assumed the rest of the racers will do their work inside the tunnel. So, the last racer who joined at the last minute followed those boys and get inside the tunnel. It was Mr. Park. Dae Ju didn't know he was such a good racer but when he saw him beside him, Dae Ju felt like his soul has left the body. But seeing his driving, Dae Ju gets some confidence and he concentrates on his job again.
When Mr. Park went inside the tunnel, he saw nothing suspicious there. What happened? Shouldn't they exchange something? Why they are all focusing on driving? He surprised. He was not that much concerned about driving. He was just looking around to check the other cars. But nothing was suspicious there. Suddenly a car came to his and hit his car from the back. He got unbalanced and nearly hit with the wall. He had to stop the car to save himself. The car which hit him was not from the Chinese racers. They were Korean and maybe they were trying to pull him back. He was surprised because he thought the Koreans are one team but he has no idea that it was an individual game and players must have to win individually. That's why Johnnie wanted Dae Ju because he bet on him.
Meanwhile, Dae Ju was trying his best to defeat others. But it was harder than he thought. Nobody even those buys weren't let him took the first place. Suddenly his car has been attacked and one wheel of his car has been loosened. He needs to go to the repair shop but it was far enough. As it was its top speed he could make it and went to the repair shop. He changed the wheel and as he needs to wait for the whole repairing his car, he was looking around to see what was the place. Suddenly he saw that another car came to the shop for repairing. And he needs some inner parts as it crashed. But when a guy opened its front side to repair it, Dae Ju noticed that it was fine. He felt something fishy here and just watching what they were doing. The guy who was in charge of the repairing took a big part where the engine was kept. Then he changed the part with other but that part which he took out from the car kept aside carefully.
"Here you go!" the boy who was changing the wheel of Dae Ju's car told him. But Dae Ju was looking at them so he didn't hear.
"Sir! This is ready to go." the boy said again. This time, Dae Ju heard him and acted as if he was in a hurry.
"Ah! Thank you!" saying this he started the car and increased the speed. His mind was processing but couldn't catch what he just saw. He tried to understand and found an answer. He thought they were cheating. Maybe there is a machine which can increase the speed of the car.
However, he concentrates on his job again and tried very hard to win. He came in the first place after trying very hard. But suddenly he saw the car of Choi San. His car was almost a meter far from Dae Ju's car. He smiled and felt proud of him. His mind was screaming like, *show them what you can do my child!* But his happiness couldn't last long. Within a few minutes, some cars came to Choi San's car and start surrounding him.
"San-ah! Do you hear me?" Dae Ju speaks after a long time.
"Hyung! I am in danger! What should I do? Should I step behind?" he asked.
"No! Try to come out! You can do it!" he shouted.
"But, they are too many! Ah! Daniel Hyung!" Choi San shouted.
"Daniel!" Dae Ju was surprised.
"Why he is here?" Dae Ju said to himself. And before they could understand anything, all of the cars hit Choi San's car at the same time. The poor boy couldn't go anywhere and become helpless. Neither he could step back nor step forward. His car was being crashed. Dae Ju slowed down to see his adorable brother. But it was too late. He was in a poor condition and his car wasn't able to run anymore. All the cars were going forward but Dae Ju couldn't bear it anymore. He turned back and drive to Choi San. All the audiences become crazy because he was not too far from winning.
"San-ah! Please, try to get out from there!" he shouted. But no reply was coming from the other side.
"San-ah! Hold yourself! I am coming!" he said and drive the car to reach Choi San.
"What is he doing? He was so close! Ah! I saved him to see this day!" Johnnie was quite angry and he hit the handle of the seat. All the men who work for him, get scared and moved a little far from him. Dae Ju reached San but he can see that more cars were coming to him. If he gets out now, he will be crushed by those cars as they were at their top speed. But if he doesn't get out now, Choi San will be burst with his car.
"What should I do?" he asked to himself. He tried to talk with Choi San again but he failed. Gathering a lot of confidence in himself he slowly gets out of the car. The workers should've rescued him until now but seem like nobody was interested to rescue him. So, Dae Ju walked to his car. He found his senseless body inside the car. His forehead, nose, and other parts of the body were bleeding. Dae Ju took his body and tried to pull out from the car. But it took more time than he thinks. The cars which were far from them came very near to them. And seems like nobody was concerned about them. They were gonna crush them like bugs. Dae Ju hurried up and took his body out. Then, he came to his own car but it was too late. The other cars have arrived at his car and they tried to destroy his car so that he can't go back to race again. As he was near his car, he got seriously injured in his shoulder. He couldn't hold Choi San's body but he was trying his best to save him. When he was fighting, there was one car coming to them. It came to help him out. It was destroying the other cars alone. Dae Ju didn't miss the chance and put Choi San's body in his car immediately. He took his seat again but he thought he was too late and he can't win the race. There was one more lap to go.
"Thank you, Catherine!" Dae Ju said started the car once again. But this time, he was injured so he couldn't give his best in it. But he was trying harder. Suddenly, he looked outside and saw that Lina came very near. She was screaming to cheer him. But seems like she was crying.
"You can do it!" She shouted.
And after seeing her face and hearing her voice, Dae Ju got a lot of confidence. He starts driving at the top speed and concentrates on driving frontward. His car was moving like a storm which can destroy a whole country within a second. As he has so many enemies, it was very hard to defeat them. He was nearly a meter far from the winning point but there was a Chinese racer in front of him. As his car was weaker than before, he couldn't continue driving at the top speed. Suddenly, another car came to him and hit him from the back. It was so sudden that he got hurt on his forehead. But it was good for him. The speed of the car increased after the collision. And because of the incident, Dae Ju reached the final victory line. But he was late. The Chinese racer also reached the line. Both of them crossed the line at the same time.
"F**k!" Dae Ju was sure that he lost because his opponent was trying to hit his car again and again.
They came to the parking place and wait for the announcement of the winner. Dae Ju came out of the car and see many people was waiting for them. Choi San has been taken to the hospital as soon as possible. Dae Ju got the medical treatment from the local doctor. The announcer starts announcing after finishing their judgment.
"Since we have a lot of interesting moments, we can say that this race was not just a race. This has been a very interesting show. We didn't judge the racers by taking anyone's side. After rewatching the clips, we noticed that both of them reached the ending line at the same time. But, after taking a vote from the audience, we decided to make one winner. And, The winner is ...." after announcing it, there was silence everywhere. All the audiences were excited to know the result. And for making it more interesting, the announcer was silent for some moments. Dae Ju's heart starts pounding. He doesn't know those people well. So, it was impossible for him to get more votes than the Chinese racer.
"It's okay. You tried your best." Lina was standing just beside him.
"At least, you tried very hard!" Jheong Woo was also there to console him. Dae Ju's shoulder was getting bandaged as he got a serious injury while saving Choi San.
"Racer number 11!" The announcer finally announced the winner. All the audiences started cheering him.
"Ah! I knew it! I can't win! I am doomed!" Dae Ju said.
"Mr. Rumi! Please come to the stage! Mr. Shao! Please come to the stage!"
"Hey! Go! You are the winner!" Lina shouted.
"Eh! I am! How?" Dae Ju was surprised.
"That doesn't matter now! Just go!" Jheong Woo also becomes excited and shouted.
"Oh! Oh! Okay!" saying this he stood up from his seat.
"Hey! Your shirt! You are just wrapped with a bandage!" Jheong Woo gives his shirt and said smilingly.
"Ah! Yes, give me." he couldn't understand what he should do or what he was doing. He took his shirt and ran to the stage. It was like a dream to him. So many people were cheering for him, clapping for him. He never thought he can see this sight again. It was common for him when he was an idol, but after he came to this body, he never could imagine he will be conquered someday for some reason. He was proud of himself and there was another guy who was proud of him. It was Johnnie. He was watching the race from the beginning and seems like he was very satisfied with Dae Ju. But there was dissatisfaction on Mr. Park's face. He thought he would be able to catch the criminals. At least, he can collect some proof. He couldn't do anything. So, he was a little disappointed. But the rest of the people were very happy. Dae Ju stood on the upper stage and the Chinese who took second place stood beside him. The golden cup was given to Dae Ju. Though it wasn't important for him, he felt proud and happy. What if his parents know that his son just wins a race? Will they be proud of him or they will be angry with him? He has no idea. When he was thinking about his parents, he remembered Seo Jin. It was past 9 pm. And he was late. He forgot about that because he was doing so many things. He has to give a speech but he just said, "Thank you!" and then ran from there.
