"Woah! You have a guitar? Can you play it?" Lina wondered by seeing a guitar and which was kept in a corner of the room and went to it.
"Oh, Yes. It's mine. I can play it since I am a singer." Yeon Hoon said. His face was full of joy from seeing her happy face. Lina took the guitar and came to him. Yeon Hoon was still sitting on the bed. He moved aside and make a space for Lina though there were many blank spaces. But he wanted to make her sit beside him.
"How did you hold it? Like this?" she posed with the guitar.
"No! You are wrong." saying this he stood up and make her position right.
"Ah! Like this? Can I play it?" seems like she was very excited.
"Sure!" Yeon Hoon said with his smiling face.
"But what if your mom is sleeping? Won't she be disturbed by me?" she slept enough and that's why she wasn't sleepy at all. But Yeon Hoon didn't get sleep for the whole day but he was so happy that he doesn't need sleep anymore. He can stay all night and all day with her like this. If there would another person in the place of Lina, he might have got bored until then. But with Lina, he felt happy just doing nothing and just sitting with her.
"I don't think she is sleeping," he said confidently.
"How can you be so sure? It's already 4 am. I am sure she is sleeping. Go and check on her." Lina said. Okay, I will go and check on her.
"You better stay here." saying this he rushed outside. There was a huge mirror inside the room. Lina stood in front of the mirror and posed with the guitar.
"Oh! Not bad! I didn't think it will suit me!" she was happy while saying this. Suddenly she forgot all her sadness and what happened to her. She felt like it was her own house and she can stay here forever.
Within a few minutes, Yeon Hoon came while running. Lina looked at him with questionable eyes and asked, "What?"
"Yes, you were right. She is sleeping." he has a lot of hope in his eyes.
"Ah! Then we can't play it," said Lina and put it in its place.
"Noona! Wanna play some game?" Yeon Hoon offered her as they had nothing to do and he loves to play games.
"Game?" she felt excited first but when she remembered that she never played games before then she said again,
"No! I never played games before! I am sure I will lose every time."
"What's wrong if you lose? Just give it a try, hm? Just once?" he was acting cute and requesting too hard because he wanted to play with her badly.
"Okay, Just for once," she said and smiled.
"Okay! Yes!" he was too happy by hearing that.
"Stay here. I'll just go and come back within a minute." saying this he rushed outside again. Lina stay still and looked at him. He was full of strength and seems like he will never get tired.
"Kids nowadays!" she said in her mind and sighed. But this was not because she was sad. This was because she was happy by seeing him like that. She kept looking around. It was really very beautiful place to live. There was Yeon Hoon's photo hanging on one side. He was looking very cool and handsome in that picture though he was cute to her. As she liked the curtains she went to the window and touched to check which fabric it was made of.
At that moment, Yeon Hoon came inside the room with some ingredients. Lina couldn't recognize what they are because she never saw them before.
"What are these?" she became curious and came to him.
"These? It's called VR set." Yeon Hoon replied simply and start to fix them for play.
"VR set?" she surprised. She has heard about it before. Nowadays, young people play with it a lot but she never saw it with her own eyes.
"How could you play with it? It doesn't have any screen on it!" she came and took the gloves from the set and asked.
"Noona! Are you a fool? You have to wear it in your hand!" Yeon Hoon finds it funny and laughed. He was adjusting the wire to his computer. So he was sitting on the floor but he looked at Lina and said laughingly.
"Ah! Should you must wear it?" she got it now and asked with curiosity.
"Yes, try it. I am sure you will look cool in it," he said by stopped laughing. Lina wears black colored gloves. These were a bit big for her. So, instead of looking cool, she was looking cuter.
"Look! I wore it!" she pulled her arm up and showed it to him. Yeon Hoon was busy joining the wire but he looked at her and couldn't stop laughing.
"HAHAHA..."
"Why are you laughing?" she asked and tried to pull off the gloves.
"No! Don't pull them off! I laughed because you were looking cute!" he stopped laughing and stood up as he finished joining the wire. Now it's time to play it.
"And what is it?" she asked and took the goggles.
"You have to wear it in your eyes." saying this he took it from her hand and make her wear it.
"Woah! You are looking so cool! Now, hold them." saying this he gives her two sticks which will be used for play the games.
"What is this now?" she asked and hold them slowly. She couldn't see anything because of the goggles. She was behaving like she was blind.
"Noona! Stay still! I am going to play the game. So stand still. Think that you are in a village and there are many people who need your help. You are an agent and you are going to save innocent people. Now, if you see any enemies, you have to shoot them with your sticks. They are not sticks, they are your gun. Understand?" he make her understand and hope that she understood him very well. He got an idea. He is gonna play the scariest game to scare her. He wanted to see the reaction if she got scared what will she do.
"Get ready! I am going to start it." he was about to start it.
"Wait! Aren't you joining?" Lina asked.
"You should try first. It's like you are practicing. Then we will play a challenge. If I win, then you have to stay here until I don't permit you. And if you win, you can ask me whatever you want." he was sure that he is gonna be the winner. He starts the game after saying that and didn't give her a chance to talk.
"Whoah! It's really awesome!" she can now see that she was inside a village. It was really beautiful though it was artificial. Nobody was there and it was a sunny day in the game. Suddenly a girl ran to her and asked for help.
"Whoa! Hoon-ah! She is asking for help." she shouted.
"Then help! Trigger your gun at your enemy," he shouted like he was inside the game. Lina was acting like she was a detective who is searching for criminals but she wasn't aware of what she was gonna met. Suddenly the sunny weather getting dark and darker. The girl which was with her a while ago go away and she was all alone again. A monster-like thing was coming to her. She got afraid as it was too scary. She moved backward but it keeps coming to her. Suddenly she remembered about the scary night when a monster really came to her like this. She gulped and loosen her sticks which she was holding since she start playing.
"No! Don't come close! Go! Just go away!" she screamed and tried to put off the goggles but she failed. She got too afraid that she closed her both eyes and searched for Yeon Hoon like a blind person. The monster came so close to her that she started screaming while crying like a baby. She got Yeon Hoon and hugged him as he was her savior. He was surprised by her sudden attack and before he understands she grabs him tightly and screamed,
"Save me! Save me!" He couldn't imagine she will get that much scared.
"Ah! Noona! It's okay! It's okay!" saying this he grabs her tightly and then opened the goggles.
"Ah! Why you didn't tell me that it's scary earlier!" she pushed him far and said with a little angry voice.
"Ah! I am sorry. I just wanted to see your reaction." he apologizes to her and bends his head down.
"Don't joke me like that anymore. It was really scary. Ah!" she couldn't get over it until then.
"I'm sorry." he apologizes to her again but his heart was racing so fast when he thinks that she grabbed him tightly. Lina looked at him and find him cute.
"It's okay as you apologize but you should have warned me first," she said with a low voice. She really thought of the monster as Rumi who was coming with his scary face to her and get afraid after what he did to her. Yeon Hoon looked at her eyes and could understand that there was something else she was afraid of. He kept looking at her without winking and tried to read her face. She finds something similar in the game. But what was it? He couldn't get that. Does that mean someone did something really bad with her? Or else, she shouldn't get that much scared by just this game.
[In Mr. Park's office]
You should go home now. I am tired. I will work later and I will call you if I can find out something about her." he said and leaned on his chair.
"Okay. But please find her as soon as possible. I will come back soon." saying this he stood up and bowed in front of him. He feels dizzy while standing up but it was okay for him. He wanted to go home as soon as possible. He hoped that Lina came back until then. If she comes back, then he will be relieved. So, he went to the way of his home. While walking to his way home, he thinks:
*What if she came back already? Can he face her? He can't. If he sees that she is home, he will not go inside. He will just take a look at her and come back from there. He will find a way for himself and he decided not to go towards her. If he went close to her, he might end up by hurting her more. And it will not good for both of them.*
"Hey!" Suddenly a hand falls on his shoulder and he got afraid. He looked back and it was Jheong Woo.
"What?" he startled and moved aside.
"How ungrateful you are! I stayed all night beside your room and you...." Jheong Woo said hopelessly.
"Ah! The thing is...." he couldn't find an answer right then. Suddenly he remembered something and said,
"Yes, I am ungrateful! Who told you to save me? Who told you to stay beside me all night long? Aish! You could just let me die!" he said.
"No! We can't!" a lady's voice came from Jheong Woo. Dae Ju was surprised and looked at him. Jheong Woo could understand what he meant so he shook his head negatively and pointed his back. Soo Mi was there too but Dae Ju didn't notice her. He was surprised by seeing her.
"We can't let you die. Oppa! Are you that hurt because of that girl? Then, leave her and come with me. We can go back to our previous day! Let's just forget about our past and look at the future. Oh?" Soo Mi proposed to him. And it was so sudden that Dae Ju couldn't understand as he never imagines something like that.
"What?" Jheong Woo looked at both of them. Soo Mi moved Jheong Woo aside and come close to Dae Ju. They all stopped walking and Dae Ju looked at Soo Mi. How shamelessly she says those words! He was wondered but he has to be more wondered when she came more close to him and hold his cheeks. She kissed his lips again and then spare him.
"Think about it. I gave you some time. Tell me your answer after that." saying this she walked away. Both of them were surprised and looked at her leaving.
