Valeria's breath hitched as more tears pooled her eyes at the slight resemblance.
"Hubert..." Her voice sounded coarse. And like he was confirming it, he smiled making Valeria gasp in realization.
'He's her GUARDIAN ANGEL!" She thought bitterly, standing up she went to meet him staggering a little. She didn't want to blink because she felt he would vanish into thin air.
Her feet came to a halt ten inches away from him. No one uttered a word, just staring into each other's eyes with longing.
"Hubert...is it really you?" She confirmed again with shaky voice, silence followed and his eyes flickered with sadness which didn't go unnoticed by Valeria. She burst into tears.
