Ark was already around 200 meters away from the village, and his sadness and nervousness was already disappearing. The feeling of walking alone in the dark felt peaceful, and just traveling alone was satisfying. He always wanted to wander outside the village and feel free. "Because I slept in pretty early, I could probably walk until the sun comes up and a little more". He continued walking straight while rubbing the hilt of his sword though he was pretty relaxed, he kept his eyes out because it was dark and beast could show up anytime. The forest Ark was in was usually cleared by the adventurers in the village, but you never know if there were some strays.
Ark walked for hours without break, and the sun was now fully out. His heart was now racing and his head hurting. He kept thinking about how his parents would react to him being gone so early while the sword and money were missing. The thought of some adventurers and other villagers looking for him worried him. A part of him wanted to stop and let them find him but another part of him wanted to run to not be found and Ark went with the latter. Ark started sprinting as fast as he could, even though his body was almost at its limit. He ran full speed continuously for 3 minutes without rest. "Hah hah hah" Ark was wheezing, struggling to take in oxygen. Ark reached into his pouch and grabbed his water, his mouth was dry, and he was starting to feel a little hungry. Even though he was thirsty, he only took two gulps and put it back because he needed to save water until he could find a river. Now that he somewhat clenched his thirst, he sat down and laid against a tree with his sword on his lap and fell asleep due to exhaustion.

"What the?" Ark opened his eyes to see a bunny on his lap. "Uhm" he didn't know what to do so he just shook his legs a little, and it hopped off but didn't run away.
*Rustle rustle*
"Hello, is anyone there?" Ark's body froze for a split second, but he forced himself to get up and start running even though he just woke up.
"Hey who's there!" The man who yelled started to chase after Ark, and he was catching up pretty quickly. Ark started laughing hysterically because of how scared he was. In a desperate attempt to get further away from his chaser, he used his skill Black Bolt.
*Boom!*
When he used his skill, there was a big shock wave and black lightning took his place for a second. Ark had completed disappeared from the chasers sight.
"Was that someone from the village?" Ark was confused but was happy he escaped. "I didn't expect it to send me that far when I didn't really have a specific destination". Unknowingly, Ark had used his skill Black Bolt three times in a second which caused him to go as far as he did so quickly.
Ark was smiling ear to ear, "that was so cool! My first time ever using a skill" he started to feel even more confident that he would be a great adventurer.

I need to create a step-by-step plan for when I arrive at Warland Kingdom.
Step one: Obviously become an adventurer first.
Step two: Find an inn to stay at for the time being.
Step three: Try a solo quest.
Step four: Find a team willing to accept a rookie.
Step five: Go from bronze to silver ranking.
Step five: Join a guild.
Although joining a guild is said to be hard but as long as I do enough quest and get my name out I'm sure at least one guild would hear my name and consider me worthy of joining. I never heard of any guild at the village, so I'm not looking for a specific guild. And I'm only 14, so it'll be surprising if anyone accepts me. I don't think I can go back to sleep right now because people are looking for me. So, I need to keep walking for a few more hours and probably see if I can make a stop somewhere instead of staying in the forest in my entire journey to the kingdom.

Ark walked for four more hours and only took five-minute breaks here and there. "Mom gave me this sword, but I don't know how to use it" Ark took the sword out of its sheath to take a good look at it. The blade was about thirty inches long and black with a gold straight line in the middle of it. Ark swung the sword around a little, and everything he did felt and looked wrong to him. Nobody ever taught him how to use a sword or even showed him a single sword movement.
"But the books I read in the library about the swordsman class had shown countless drawings of sword movement sequences". Ark slowly raised his sword with one hand and slowly and precisely swung the sword down. "That didn't feel as bad as last time" Ark then quickly slash the sword in an upward motion then slashed diagonally. Ark kept repeating those movements while also adding onto it bit by bit to make sure he got every movement remembered. "Though these are basic sword movements, I need to master these moves". This was the first time Ark trained himself in combat, that's why he wants to master it because he doesn't know how to fight and if he wishes to survive this journey and become an adventurer he needs to at least know basic combat. Ark does have pretty toned muscles from working on the farm for most of his life, but he doesn't know how to put his muscles to use in combat.
'I need to make a schedule for this journey to the kingdom'. Ark sheathed his sword and started thinking about the journey and how long it's going to take to get there. "So the plan is walk for a few hours then break for five minutes then train for a couple of hours then walk for a few more hours than sleep and eat and drink in between". After setting his schedule, he pulled out his sword and continued training some more.
(6 Hours later)
"Oh man! I was so focused on practicing with the sword that it became dark already". 'Practicing with a sword is so fun, especially when you're imagining fighting monsters'.
[You have accumulated a lot of training experience, would you like to level up!]
"You can level up without killing beast? Yes, I would like to level up". After I finished my sentence, I felt like I gained a boost of energy and strength. It felt so refreshing, and it feels like I can feel everything clearer without much focus.
