The man stared at me, the deformity on his face seemed to cover him. "My name—"
"Gladius—" I murmured, remembering the bits of information I had learned about Vincent. "Rumor is you're dead."
He smirked, the burns held half of his face in place. "You heard incorrectly; I had an incident—" he stopped, moving towards step-mom. "My brother tried to end my life."
"Looks like he didn't try too hard—"
With unseen movement, he appeared before me, his hand on my shoulder. "You are too much like him for your own well being—sorry if I didn't care to learn your name, poor nephew. Watch who you provoke…"
