"God damn fucking cell phone!" He tossed the contraption to the ground, growling with frustration.
The hotel was gracious enough to provide us with a suite, so that we could have a place to work together on this Kavielle situation. I had taken refuge in the corner, and he was set up near the window. "Breaking it will only make it worse. Use the landline, I will cover the charges."
He grumbled again, picking the device up. "Aye, you just think I didn't bleedin' think of that already? No one is answering."
I dismissed him with a wave of my hand. "I had them isolated to my suite for protection; just be patient."
"Haven't got through to Dimitri yet, have ya?" He mocked, fiddling with the device again.
"No, but my son is more than capable of taking care of himself." I rebutted, still trying to read the report from the investigator.
