A flash of death
Kavielle POV
Where ever I was, the room was black. My hands and feet bound; my mouth taped shut. When I moved and tried to sit up I bumped into something. I was in the trunk. This was a nightmare come true; some sort of terrifying game, right? I tried to scream, my throat burned just with the attempt. Just a waste of strength, I needed to wait for the right time.
The car was moving pretty fast now; we had to be on a highway somewhere. The cars shocks thumped with every minor bump on the road. There was the scent of something foul leaking into the trunk, a bitter, toxic bit of smoke. Were they smoking in the car? Or was this exhaust—
I tried to push my face into my shoulder, hoping to filter some of the nauseating smoke. The car was slowing now, coming to a stop just for a moment. The stench made me lightheaded; my vain attempts only helping a bit. I was so dizzy, I couldn't breathe anymore.
