Judge, jury, executioner?
Vincent POV
Her call surprised me, knowing she had been avoiding me for nearly a month's time. Even more surprising, when Andrew was on the line in lieu of her. "Hello monster." He hissed through the line. He never held back his malice towards me; that was the molecule of respect I had for him.
"Greetings, Andrew. What did I do to have the pleasure?" I mocked sarcastically.
A little groan under his breath and he continued, "Kavi wants to meet up and talk to you about Madison."
"Hm," I muttered, raking my hand over my face. "That's unimportant. Is she—"
"Yes," he snapped, "your demon seed didn't get what he wanted after all."
I let the line stay silent for a moment, hoping it would irritate him more. "He will be happy to know that; I know it is a relief to me as well."
"You're a fucking cunt and no one cares what you or he likes—Now," he grunted, "what do you know about Madison?"
