"Are you going to be alright? Are you sure you don't want some back up?" He asked, as I stared out of the window in front of the building.
"I'm not putting you in the middle of it. I'll be fine. Thank you again for the ride. You better get home to Gage."
He looked at me with that 'calling my bullshit' face he did. "I'll be back in a half and I hope you'll be finished."
"Oh fuck, I hope it doesn't take that long." I murmured, him chuckling at me a bit.
I leaned over the console, planting a kiss on his cheek. He smiled, "Just be careful. Call me if you need anything."
I got out of the car, staring up at the home of most of the painful memories I had. I wanted to avoid seeing Dimitri before, so I quickly made my way up the stairs, the doorman smiling as me as I passed, "Good Morning, welcome to V Industries Ms. Bourete. His lordship is waiting just inside."
