Nefarious deeds
My dreams wouldn't let me rest. Being as stubborn as I am, the last thing I thought about this week was my medication—okay, maybe not last, but really close. The sedatives would keep the dreams at bay; I still missed the few good ones I had, but I could live without the constant reminder of my failures over the years.
Tonight, wouldn't be a night of happy memories.
His hand wove into mine, the light of the sun peaking over the crest. We were always in the same place when this happened. Here, on top of the building; I, wearing my blood covered wedding dress, with Drew laying lifeless in front of me.
Vincent would squeeze my hand, pulling my eyes to him. "This cannot continue." His cool lips brushed my hand; he would slide a cuff on my arm, him cuffed to the other side. "We will do this together, my love."
