A story of patience
His face was blank for a moment, then he spoke carefully. "I know, That has always been your stance on things."
Surprised, I took a deep breath. "Oh, I thought you wanted—"
"I want for you to be ready. And it's obvious you're not." He said with a kind smile.
Damn. Always so perfect.
"Well then, I guess we should get to it." I said, grabbing my drink and flopping down on the couch.
He sat too, opening his arms, "You should just come sit with me." I crawled over, laying in his lap. His enormous arms wrapped around me. "Tell me everything."
